Jeremy being surprised a Pokemon lived an Endeavor is incredibly amusing.
When Lopunny came on screen during that sand battle, I immediately thought of Joker's vile. So when Jeremy did the thing, I busted out laughing like mad.
GG on the run my dude, Emerald Rogue is a really good romhack imo and I hope you're enjoying it enough to keep doing more videos on them!
Few things on the game mechanics, you absolutely don't need to take any of these into consideration, it's also for people who also want to play Emerald Rogue after watching you:
- The route adjectives (calm, average, tough) give you some hints on what the route is going to have in it as well. Calm is 6 wild Pokemon, less trainers and less rare items. Average is 4 wild Pokemon with average items and trainers. Tough is 2 Pokemon with difficult trainers and rarer items.
- you absolutely nailed it with the Pokemon in the water, you only get 2 per run. So, it was only going to be clauncher and wooper for that run in the water. The route where you got the last Tom you also could have caught one in the water patch.
- rare candies can boost Pokemon up above the level cap, which is really good for the last few fights imo when you can have level 100 vs the second e4 and you can crush them with one good Pokemon.
- the berry plots in the overworld are a godsend imo, get some sitruses in there and in a few runs you can just keep equipping all your pokemon in the runs all the time.
- getting items from the item truck in the hub is both good and bad, it's wonderful because you can stock up on mints, ability capsules, and leftovers and they go into every run (as all items you have in the hub do) but because you only have limited bag space, it's easy to have too much and not be able to pick up any more items
- the hub bank is your friend. That one I'm not going to tell you what it does, but it's absolutely worth it. If you haven't unlocked it yet, check your quest log for the challenges.
- challenges are also very fun.

One thing I will give this game, you almost never get you really fight Legendaries and above in trainer battles. You sure do in this.

Love the content. Another fun fact 4 Pokémon is in orginal gen2(don't know about heart gold and soul sliver) if u didn't hit any buttons during the animation of razor leaf it would always crit

The moment he went for the legendary at the end of the run I thought he threw the game.
Jeremy, I don't know if you read these comments or if someone may have already told you, but, before you fight the gym leaders (where you can also pay Nurse Joy to heal your party or pay the statue to know what type of team you'll be facing), there is a lady you can fight that only has a Chansey that will do no damage to you and will increase the level of all of your pokemon to the max lvl cap for that gym/area at no cost.
Just got to the part where you used rare candy to do that, so I thought it would be helpful to let you know so you can save them for other things during your runs. :)
