  • This is a taste test/review of Jeni’s Cream Puff Ice Cream, Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks Ice Cream, Frosé Sorbet and Lemon Buttermilk Frozen Yogurt. They were $2.99 each at Jungle Jim’s International Market.
    * Cream Puff - Bright, candy-like vanilla custard with a pinch of sea salt. Toasted pastry flakes nod to the distinct texture of an Old World cream puff. 1 container = 240 calories
    * Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks - Salted and roasted ground peanuts with grass-grazed milk and crunchy, dark chocolate flecks. 1 container = 250 calories
    * Frosé Sorbet - Sangria-style frozen rosé with pear, strawberry, and watermelon. Refreshing and bright with a tinge of tartness. 1 container = 110 calories
    * Lemon Buttermilk Frozen Yogurt - Fresh lemon juice, cultured buttermilk, organic yogurt, and cream. A longtime favorite Jeni’s flavor. 1 container = 190 calories

The salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks is one of my favorite ice creams ever. I also recommend skillet cinnamon roll - it’s a new flavor and so delicious!

Gooey Buttercake is by far the best IMO! Thanks for the video, never seen the small cups before! :O

I absolutely love cream puff. Dont care for pb with flecks. I loved pineapple upside down cake and blackout cake. Blackout cake is almost a 10/10

Do you like blackout cake more than darkest chocolate? I always get the Darkest Chocolate. Should I switch?

@@scruffy0928 it's almost a 10. It's so much better than the darkest chocolate

My favorite Jeni flavors are one you probably would hate. Darkest Chocolate, Brandied Banana Brulee, and the Goat Cheese with Cherries. I think Kevin would like the Strawberry Buttermilk. It's very fruity tasting. And for Tammy there is a toffee almond one that I don't ever get , but it's my friend's favorite or a blueberry lemon one.

I just got brambleberry crisp, gooey butter cake, and biscuit peach jam. The peach one is by far best, i wouldnt even get the other 2 again although butter cake was a lot better than brambleberry. I hope you can try the peach!! I was fearing the biscuits would have a wet bad texture like you described but they are wonderful little bits of savory biscuit against a classic peach flavor. And the gooey butter cake pieces definitely had the wet cardboard texture so i definitely understand what you mean by that. Get the peach !!!

😳...Jeni's Brambleberry crisp is literally the best ice cream I have tasted.. I eat a pint in one sitting it is so good.. I let it thaw out on the counter to get soft first and it is so creamy and delicious!

I love the salted peanut butter. It is one of my favorite Jenni’s flavors. I’m sorry you had a bad experience!

While not a favorite, I actually like softer type bread so the texture of the cream puff didn't bother me. I haven't tried a lot of Jeni's ice cream but thought the blackout chocolate cake, gooey butter cake were pretty good but my favorite one that I would buy again if my store gets it back in stock would be the supermoon (blue violet and vanilla marshmallow) I was hesitant because I don't care for floral in food but when eating the two flavors together it tastes like marshmallow cereal milk.

I had ice cream with French fried in it... 🤢 it was awful... I don’t know if you’ve ever eaten a fry from the freezer without baking it first... but that was the taste... I threw most of it away... I agree trial sizes are nice... especially if they make a few flavors...

Jeni's has good ice cream but I do NOT understand cream puff or churro (it's like cream puff with cinnamon and caramel I think)... like who thought little wet papery shreds of pastry was a good idea?? I've had more standard flavors in their shops and I've enjoyed them. They are pricey though in stores.

I can honestly attest to not caring for Jeni’s brand. You will find a gem in their plethora of flavors but i got tired of being disappointed. For me, I will stick to ben and jerry’s or talenti.

Problem is B&J is owned by the Occult. So they add a lot of seeds oils & other toxic chemicals like most Corp brands. Talenti is good but I would not consider it real gelato. The texture is more like ice cream.
