- Persona has been a series loved by many to the point where the fans love this game so much that developers have gone and remade the games due to its overwhelming popularity. Hype for Persona continues to rise, and many people tell me to check it out more and more every day. As a JRPG fan I feel I must check out what makes persona such a gem. Enjoy me reacting to Persona for the first time. I have no idea what's happening in the past games but watching the openings will be awesome & I'll make some predictions about what I think based on my JRPG experience.

I'm very excited for P3Reload, Persona 3 is my first persona game and it became a big part of why I play jrpgs.
Here's a little something about the games.
Persona 3: accept death; treasure life
Persona 4: face yourself; find the truth
Persona 5: break the chains of society; find your own way
Something cool that they did to differentiate each game is giving them their own color scheme, which fits with the theme and general vibe of the game.
Persona 3 has blue for the male protagonist, representing hope and sadness, and pink for the female one (in Persona 3 Reload only the male protagonist is present), which represents hope and tenderness
Persona 4 is yellow, representing both joy and sickness
Persona 5 is red, like a fire of rebellion and passion
So glad you're enjoying seeing Persona stuff! It's such a good series!
You really do need to check out the Persona 5 Tactica opening now. It's very fun.
And, a bit of trivia. In Persona 3, 4, and 5 the characters summon their personas in different ways. Persona 3 characters summon their persona by using an "evoker", which is designed to basically trick them into thinking they're about to die. This is done by pointing the evoker (which looks like a gun) at yourself and pulling the trigger. So that's what you see in the P3 openings. Persona 4 characters just destroy a tarot card to summon their personas. Persona 5 characters summon their personas by pulling off their masks. With these methods P3 really emphasizes it's themes. P5 not only emphasizes it's theme, but also touches on the original meaning of the word Persona in Jungian psychology (as a metaphorical mask you wear to help you interact with the world around you).

Regarding the timeline it basically begins in the early/late 90s with Persona 1 and Persona 5 being around 2018 by strikers. And persona 3 portable being an alternative universe to P3
And theres also a boat losd of persona mobile games, one of the recent ones being persona 5 Phantom X a game that isnt available worldwide yet but theres cutscenes n stuff for it online
for the persona q games which are the crossover games, they actually have the singers from each of their respective games in songs to represent the game they sing for and there’s even some collab songs in the osts, like the opening songs. q1 does the battle themes differently than q2 tho cos q1 has 2 versions of the same song one for p3 and one for p4 but q2 just has separate songs for each game there
q2 is my favorite persona ost in general but i think my favorite song from a persona game is Counterstrike from persona 5 strikers

@@MakeItLookEZ i've only played halfway through both q games and they're pretty good from what i've played so far. and tho i haven't played it i think persona 4 arena is also a crossover game with 3 and 4 (the title was different in the opening cos of the region)

I don't know if you read later comments but if any of the persona 2 openings interested you they also made a teaser trailer for a persona 2 anime that never happened. It looks really cool and I've only found one low quality reaction to it so far.

Wow this trailer is one of my favorites by far so cinematic and the transitions of the characters was clean and smooth. It gives AOT vibes when unleashing their powers in a way. I love the different variations depending on the character’s power abilities. The anime is a little hit or miss, and if you do watch it the dub is apparently the better version

Who needs an anime when the game itself is an anime.
If you are open to play the game def play the game tho. It's a completely different experience from the Anime
Its not that person became less dark because it still is pretty dark it just adapted the openings are now moer sublte with its darkness then they were before, even the dancing game has like one of the darkest starts and most peeople miss the girl being unable to escape in the openings
I really wouldn't recommend watching some episodes of the Anime tho. Not all are bad but especially the P5 one is horrible and you will get spoiled really quick. The games are just the original and 100% better experience. The exclusive music is fantastic tho as the others already said.
