    Compact and convenient headlamp, i think it's worth this price, i'm gonna buy such one. And i believe that with Energizer ultimate lithium it will work much more longer.
    Thanks for the review.

    I like that it runs so well on a AA battery which makes it very versatile. The other headlamp I can think of that does this is a Zebralight, although that is more money and a right angle design. One I always wanted to try, but don't have.

    I love these technical data on paper - 1xAA and 4h 240lm🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Clear competition for the Fenix hm23. Similarly, the technical data is ridiculous. Although the Fenix shows an embarrassing drop in power. The drop in power will be instantaneous, and then it will only get worse.

      Oh it's never accurate 😂. They say 4 hours on high but that's 4 hours of a few minutes here and there depending on if the thermal regulator kicks in or if the battery can even sustain that output. It's basically a 60lm headlamp at best that can do 240lm. For $20 it's not terrible. From the time lapse it shows exactly what took place and I explained exactly what took place without going crazy with the meters and other devices to measure the output. I'm not going into laboratory mode for a $20 headlamp 😂. Time is money. I've had $100 headlamps that say it's 600lm but in reality it was a 200lm headlamps that are capable of 600 lm because we know they never stay at their maximum output anywhere near their suggestion runtime and output ratio in the manual. . I'm almost always disappointed. I never take the tech specs on paper seriously. Everyone in the flashlight community knows that the step downs are dramatic and fast with the highest lumen output. I guarantee that 98% of all flashlights are never truly the output and runtimes stated in the manual. It's a shame too. I would love for any flashlight company to just step up and do the right thing and make claims that are repeatable during tests like mine. I've never once had tech specs be accurate. Even this light is a technically on 60 lumen flashlight that is capable of about 200 lumens 🤣 but for the price point in not gonna complain. If I was overly critical about every flashlight there would only be 3 flashlights worthy of making a video about. 😂
      I did a review of one of the WUBEN headlamps you suggested. 😎👍

    Was considering the NU21, but looking for AA option in small size. This may fit the bill, which it does.

    i love AA flashlights but i gave away my 2xAA Nitecore headlamp because the steps of the algling were too big. i never could get the light where i wanted, it was too high or too low. with Fenix the steps are smaller and very precise, while LedLenser is stepless, or infinite steps.and on a Nebo, that gear cog broke alltogether...

    Great short, to-the-point, and honest review!
    Is there any parasitic battery drain?

    • @PreparedGuy
      @PreparedGuy  Před rokem +2

      I haven't found any parasitic drain as of yet. I've left a AA Energizer ultimate lithium in the light for the last 2 weeks and the battery is still like 90% so that's a good sign. 😎👍

    I just got one and it seems ok for a minimalist headlamp. I had a nitecore ut27 and I dropped it causing a hinge to break. It was warranty replaced. The replacement cracked and eventually a hinge just broke after 3mo. I wouldn't recommend that model.

    Great review but what I'm missing here is how does it fit on the head? These strings don't look comfortable to wear and I'm afraid the light would either slide off or be uncomfortable when tightened too much. I put more trust in standard elastic straps but I'm curious if this solution is any good.

      I've got one. Once adjusted it fits just fine. It's extremely light so doesn't really need a wider strap.

    Nice little headlamp, so simple runs on a double a with good run times.
