9" Ford - The Complete Rear End: 9" Housing - Fill and Drain Plug - Do I NEED these options?

In this video, Redbird Speed discusses the fill and drain plug options in this 9" Ford housing from Moser Engineering. This is the new hybrid can released in the summer of 2023 shown with optional fill and drain. The fill isn't totally necessary because the case has a plug in the side to fill the rear with fluid. Some people like to use the fill plug as a gear inspection hole also. HOWEVER, we do recommend the DRAIN PLUG. This is a very convenient option that prevents you from having to pull the center section or suck the gear oil out with a hose. These are both available upgrades on the Moser Engineering 9" rear ends. Contact us if you have questions.
