I am waiting on my ORU BEACH LT, should arrive within the next few days cant wait to get it out in the water. I live in NYC by the way, where was this? looks like a perfect place for some ORU fun. Nice going on your maiden voyage.

So excited to hear from an other Oru owner! Soooo ...I posted way after filming. LOL . I was paddling on Heart Lake at the Loj in the Adirondacks. It's a small lake but I have also paddled Saranac lake in the same area and found that area delightful. Good luck with the new kayak and thanks for stopping by!

That Oru looks awesome! I'd love to see how it does in a river and also see how it sets up!

Why do they keep making kayaks that don't track on the water the worst thing on water is a kayak swinging from side to side .Take a look at the story ranger kayak that's how to design the bow of a kayak it track's arrow straight .

Hmm, Interesting. Yes.. kayak design is huge for tracking. Thanks for stopping by!

What material is that one made out of? (Pssssst....Pin your own comment so it stays up top 😁)

It is corrugated plastic. Extremely tough. I saw someone take theirs through some mildish rapids, hitting rocks along the way with no problem. Thanks for the pin tip. I totally forgot to pin my comment...LOL

      I'm probably that someone 😂
I've dragged my Oru over more rocks than I care to admit. Obviously not recommended, but it's taken the abuse quite well considering.

@@RockClimbinGrandma That's kind of what I thought it was when I saw a closer up view of it, but wasn't sure.
I got your back on the pinned comment! 😁
