Holy crap! I made this tonight with pandan juice instead of water and I think I died and went to heaven. It brought back all of the amazing memories of my childhood in Southeast Asia. Thanks Marion😊
Coconut is just my favorite - I'd eat anything coconut. I'll try these for certain. Much less involved than the churned recipe I've been making for 30 yrs. Crunchy unicorns - gotta love that.
I just made this! It's now in my freezer (hopefully!) setting up! One note for those in Canada that want to make this recipe: the recipe online says 396g or 13.9oz of sweetened condensed milk.. that is the equivalent of a 300ml can in Canada. Just a note to save some confusion like I had. :)

coconut cream is kinda hard to reproduce or substitute as it has one of a kind taste n texture. You could try these : 1) add few drops of coconut essence into a can of evaporated milk 2) a packet of coconut milk powder mixed with warm water 3) Order online for canned coconut cream/milk Lo siento pero eso es lo que puedo ofrecer 🙏

I refuse to use palm sugar in my cooking. I just see tiny orangutan faces whenever I say the words palm sugar so I stopped using it about 7years ago.
