After wheel of time i think most sci-fi and fantasy series should be. The best part of the wot show was the animated shorts amazon made for lore, it made me wish the while show was made like that

No.. when a series can pull off live action, you go live action. Something like mostborn or stormlight archive however, animated for sure. But Red Rising series has the potential to be a hit tv series with a massive audience if they were granted an appropriate budget, and a solid cast. HBO needs to pick this up.
@@austinquick6285gotta disagree. I think animated should be the way to go and I’m not a huge fan of anime either. But there’s so much material to work from adapting it into something like they did with game of thrones within budget and still keeping the story would be very difficult

Sometimes, every now and then Netflix knocks it out of the park tho. And even rarer they get a grand slam.

An animated series makes the most sense just because of the height differences between colors. Otherwise all the Golds have to either be NBA players or modified with CGI too look taller than everyone else

I'm almost done with book one. Amazing so far. Although that damn song of Persephone almost made me cry. When Eo first sings it i wasn't expecting the entire scene. I was at work almost crying lol.

Except from LOTR and Harry Potter, I really prefer the books than a film or tv show. Especially TV shows like The Witcher just loose their way (exception of Henry Cavil, but that’s why he left)
Btw I’m not saying the LOTR or Harry Potter films are better than the books, but they are classics and much better than most adaptations

It’s gonna be ruined just like every live action adaptation they prefer woke brownie points then Actually following through with the source material to make an actually good show like the Witcher, lord of the rings Amazon series, Star Wars, ect ect I’d much rather have it be an animated series I think it would be so much easier to keep it as close as possible to the source material and bring it to life that much easier I can’t imagine the razor and iron rain scenes being within budget or capable of being pulled off

But that hardly makes it woke, those are the messages that Abraham Lincoln was elected and founded his party on, the same ideals that inspired the constitution and the Magna Carta. Repeating lock inspired ideas is just western philosophy and principles. Woke is the new, and viols down to “progressive for the sake of progression” towards what? Not equality or a better world. Just towards always moving “forward”.

Unfortunately this series isn’t quite popular enough to get the budget it truly deserves. It needs a LOTR or Stranger Things budget with Zack Snyder level production.
I’m not being a snob, the first time a normal (red) human sees a gold in battle they move with such power and speed the red can’t even comprehend what’s happening. 7ft genetic freaks where the weakest ones are stronger than the most athletic actor on earth right now. We need gratuitous CGI and slow mo.
Just hope they dont ruin it with Woke 💩.... 🙏🏼.
