Our door mechanism is auto-locking and can only be opened with two hands intentionally trying to open the door. It will never accidentally open. Always check for this feature when shopping for walk-in tubs!
Most tubs I’ve seen open inwards so this can’t happen by mistake!

Ok so the water will run out on the floor if you open the door when the tub is full? What if it was only half full?

Technically you don't, but if you don't wait for it to drain, the water will exit the door when you open it.
