I have been away for two months for my internship and one the first things I did when I got back was finding the comfiest spot in the house, grabbing a cup of fresh made coffee and do a marathon of all the Trout & Coffee stories I have missed in the meantime. So proud to have been one of the first damn good kids out there. And so happy to see another lovely addition to this wonderful team! Heidi, we really need to get you a cool nickname. Right, Div?

The place is called Wind Song Inn in Clyde N.C. place is for sale now just Google it see the pictures, we where there in the fall of 92 at peak color we found it in the back of a magazine no internet then we had to call then on rotary dile pay phone that I still have, wait for the brochure to show up in the mail! LOL! had to wait a whole week for info.
Totally magical place the people who owned it he was a film producer out of NY City who made documentaries he would come back on the weekend's think his name was Gene cool guy real sense of humor he would call me the guy with the race truck! LOL That I still have and still is on the road
His wife and daughter ran the inn during the week.

ah man I love that! And I would have to agree. There's a certain energy when there's human to human interaction that can't be told or expressed on solo journeys. And that's so cool! These videos definitely offer that behind the scenes look for anyone who follows on Instagram too. Gives the back story to all these places which is something that most creators on IG never show...
These videos really help me step out of my head and reminds me of how precious and fleeting life is..and also home is where the heart is. It's not a place x
I watch A LOT of youtube and this is by far my favorite channel. it is so simple yet so much more complex then anything on here. Your videos have such a warm and comforting a vibe, I love it.
I dont know what i love more......the way he narrarates the videos or the way the videos always seemed to leave me wanting more. Videos are meaningful and really makes me appreciate nature the way it is. I accidentally stumbled across this channel a few months back........and boy....was it a great move. I appreciate your work. She's great, you're great, the two of you are great for one another. The chemistry, the personalities, the way you both interact...man, you're doing good. I think I realized why I like your channel so much and why your videos really drew me in, especially in the beginning...you are so humble brother. You don't show it off, you don't brag about it, you simply capture it and share it. I could go there and see and do and all that. Any of your viewers could. You don't make it come across as being out of touch for the rest of us. Like I said in another comment, you draw the viewer in, you invite us to go along...I don't feel like I'm on the outside...I feel like I'm a part of this with you and all those who view. I've watched a few of your videos, this one included, that have LITERALLY brought tears to my eyes...not sad tears, just an emotional overload into a release...that's a good thing man. To know you (and Heidi) and your work can captivate and bring out deep seated emotions and have that kind of impact....I cannot tell you how rare that is. really nice editing! ive lived in this area for a very long time even shop at the putney co op every week you make it seem "magical" but the truth is this time of year to us locals it couldn't be more of the opposite i highly recommend coming back in mid October around the northeast kingdom area would make a great video with the fall colors and drone footage.

I grow up in a province (countryside) in the Philippines but I have always wanted to get out and live in the city. Now, I'm working in a city and all I long for everyday is to go back home and build a cottage on the backyard forrest. But I cannot do that now, I still have to save for my Architecture license. And a video like this is the next best thing to going back home.
