Simplex 4100U/ES Default Voice Evacuation Message (Full Length *HIGH QUALITY*)

This is another recording by the Retired STR-SG, this time a high quality recording of the default Simplex 4100U/ES message in full length. I am aware that the 4100U in the video doesn’t have voice evac on it, but it’s the only photo I could find of a 4100U at the time. Please Enjoy!

It seems most of those Simplex voice-evac systems tend to go with either Slow Whoop or the Code-3 tone as the alert sound.

yeah, i almost forgot that the state of Massachusetts does not allow that slow whoop tone at some certain speaker strobe except code 3 520hz or 1200hz in the 900hz which either met the requirements. 😬for either simplex edwards wheelock etc

Yeah, I remember how when the middle school near my old house had a Simplex 4100U voice-evac system installed in 2003 to replace their ancient Edwards fire alarm system (with 380-L flush-mount Adaptahorns), because it wasn't as loud as the old Edwards system was they had to put TrueAlert speaker/strobes EVERYWHERE, including one in each classroom. The audio was configured the same way, but with the female version of the default evac message.

The voice evac message lasts for 1 minute and 20 seconds then it makes alot of noise by playing the slow whoop over and over again
