Forza did this car so dirty with customization....
Y e s
Ngl the thumbnail made it look like the mustang foxbody from F9

Revisit Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2005
You do every car dirty when you say Engine spacers shows you know very little about cars. FYI is wheel spacers now show us you can learn and start saying it right.
Just saying, 200 hp for a turbo 2.3L straight-4 in 1986 was insane, oh and the GT, with the 5-litres V8, only made 210hp
5.0 was under rated they made more than 210hp same with the SVO
My stock 5.0 GT from 1984 dyno'd at 315 wheel
@@ryanbellamy6842 maybe with gt40 stuff but they didn’t go that high fully stock
@@ryanbellamy6842 i promise you it will never dyno that fully stock. Those are dyno numbers for a heads, cam, intake, exhaust, e85 car
There is a 87 dohc prototype rumored to be around 275hp. Would have embarrassed the 5.0
Fun fact, the 1995 Mustang i had, has a 145 horsepower V6. So the SVO isn't the least powerful Mustang
There was another 3rd gen with a 120 horsepower v8. 255 ci. Gross.
@The Epsilon Program god
My ex-wife had a 1983 Mustang with a 4-cyl. It put out 88hp. Yep.
Svo has crazy torque tho came close to buying one but went for a notchback instead
Neeerd
Fun fact it's one of the fastest mustangs created before the 2005. It was just as fast as the V8 options
Actually faster in most cases
Imagine being pour and buy a V6☠
@@saidgameplays2089 poor*
@@saidgameplays2089 imagine making fun of somebody for buying what THEY want
Back then if you wanted a fast mustang you had to go SVT, Shelby, Roush, or some other mod company.
I have an 1986 LX Hatch, it was also originally a 2.3 I4. The SVO also has my favorite interior out of any foxbody.
Ayyy foxbody gang
I got a LX coupe FHP car
Can confirm. Front seats are great
Ayy foxbody gang (former😭)
Did you swap in the 5.0 V8?
@@Kev27RS yes
No, the SVO is NOT the least powerful Mustang ever made, nor is it the worst. Throughout the 70's, and in the early '80s, Mustangs were horrible and horribly underpowered. Remember: The Mustang is not just the GT model. Basic 6-cyl and 4-cyl models have been around the entire time.
Right. The 5.0 was only making 215
@@thurmar111 Let's not forget the Mustang II. Or better yet, let's forget that one. ;)
In 1979, the Mustang 5.0 had 140 buff ponies. That's it. 140hrsprs. My ex-wife owned a 1983 Mustang with an 88hp 4-cyl. It was brown.
Yeah, the SVO was a beast compared to those.
The Mustang 2 base model made like 90 hp…
@@angelgjr1999 87hp
@@johncrafton8319 lol
If you say this is one of the worst mustangs,
1. You haven’t seen the mustang II
2. You haven’t driven one. I have one that makes 18psi of boost and it beats a same year GT mustang.
He says it out of ignorance. Plenty of kids these days simply don't know just how slow the cars were in the '70's and most of the '80s. If you were getting 0-60 in 8 seconds, you were burning up the streets. A light, turbocharged 4-cyl Fox-bodied Mustang was well-respected back then, even by the V8 gang.
The SVO was pretty cool and high tech. Back then turbos weren’t common outside of rally cars. The GT made about the same amount of hp with double the cylinders.
@@angelgjr1999 Yep. Smaller engine, with better mileage and more tech, revving higher, lower weight, etc. It was a different kind of Mustang altogether.
@@johncrafton8319 true but also with 18 psi i would expect you to beat the fox lol
@@johncrafton8319 Yes, but it had a 4 cylinder...
Big V8 on an American sports car! 💪
That's what they are known for!
If I want a 4 or 6 cylinder car, I'll get a German or Japanese car! 😉👍
I’m glad forza added something pretty cool. Fox bodies are so cool regardless, but is there still no coyote swaps at all for the mustangs?
crazy to think about that.
I just want to swap the coyote and the 351w into them lol
I understand the developers want the people to play the game and enjoy it for what it is. Sometimes you wanna build something cool or different, but it’s hard to do so when it’s the same tuning and upgrade aspect as in previous horizons, same with the car list.
The fox is already in the game... what are u talking about
@@zacharymurphy8575 really? I said coyote swap. I know the mustang is in the game.
The slowest Mustang would have been the 1974-1978 Mustang II with the 2.3l. It had 83 hp. My dad actually bought one new back in 1977. lol
The Mustang II is still more of a Mustang than the Mach-E
Mustang 2 in 2.3 form made 88 horsepower and that didn't change all the way through 1986. In 87 it was bumped to 90 horsepower thanks to EFI
The original 1964 Mustang with the 170ci 101hp engine could also be a candidate for the slowest mustang. On paper it has more hp but its gross hp, so in reality it should be close to the Mustang II which btw had 88hp. I wouldnt be surprised if the 170ci Mustang I is the least powerful
@@brandon.rondeau not even close
@@horvathr95 Yeah, I had a 1966 Mustang with a 302 from a '68 pickup, pushing about 320hp (gross). The stupid original slushbox could barely handle that thing, and all I did was give the engine better spark plugs, a better carb, and a better air cleaner.
People like to assume all the old muscle and pony cars were fast. They forget they were all just grocery-getters with bigger engines in them. Factory stock, unless you got a performance model, you still had a grocery-getter.
The original Mustang was nothing more than a rebodied Falcon - an early-60's econobox - with some options for more go-fast parts. Most of them weren't fast at all.
“Worst Mustang ever”
…*laughs in Mustang II*
I was hoping for a 5.0 or the GT350r engine, I’m really really surprised none of those are available
I don’t think the coyote can be swapped into anything in forza, would be great if it could go in other cars

It isn’t the least most powerful. That “award” goes to the 1974 I6 mustang ii. 89bhp
Nope. The 1983 Mustang with a 2.3 4-cyl made 88hp.
This car is a MONSTER in A class.
I stuck the 6.2L V8 in it, gave it semi-slick tires, sport suspension, 6spd gearbox, about 480hp and that thing grips like nothing and with power from 2nd-5th gear, it pulls on people like nothing and with it being extremely planted, I can overtake from some odd angles that people wouldn't cover and pull it off with no oversteer nor understeer. It's balanced as hell and quite potent with the V8.
While it would be heavier, I'm also willing to bet it's a drag monster with a fully maxed 6.7 and drag tires.
So they'll add an svo but not the 03-04 Cobra? They should've atleast given this thing the gt350 or gt500 v8 to swap in or maybe the 7.2 everyone swaps into that rtr and send it straight to the moon.
It’s a pretty nice car, wish there was more customization..
The SVO was faster than the GT and handled better being lighter and essentially mid engine with similar power figures.
It was a 4 cylinder though...
On an American sports car...
The SVO’s 2.3 Turbo engine, the Lima motor, was also put in the Thunderbird Turbo Coupes, unsurprisingly the Mustang and Thunderbird in the 80s shared the Fox platform, and it was in the Merkur XR4Ti, which basically the US spec Sierra Cosworth. They’re an insanely disrespected motor simply because Ford 4 cylinder in muscle car. I’m sure if you changed the badge to Nissan, Mazda or Mitsubishi and used that motor for a DSM car, it would be one of the most loved motors. You can just put stupid amounts of power through it without having to do much to the bottom end and it’ll just take it.
I have an 87 TC I plan on doing a yote swap on.. such a hidden gem not many people kno about them
@@925dean4 I know! They’re basically cheap Fox bodies and no one has figured that out yet
I had the 84 5.0 but I always show love to the Thunderbird and SVO, maybe someday I'll have another foxbody...😔
At least it's more Mustang than the Mach E! 😂😂
This was the Mustang EcoBoost before the Mustang EcoBoost existed
When I saw the mudflaps I thought "is this a good rally car?"
Answer: Yes, a really good B-Class RWD Rally car.
Mustang and rally car should NOT be in the same sentence
@@WSlopeAggie people rally cross fox body’s all the time
@@WSlopeAggie Then don't play Dirt Rally, Dirt Rally 2 or Dirt 5, you'll have a heart attack when you find out there's officially licensed Mustang GT rally cars in those games.
It’s actually perfect that you can put the turbo rally engine in. No point in an SVO if your just gonna put a V8 in it and turn it into GT🤷♂️. Also the stock engine can make 600 hp.
It had a 200hp turbo in the 80s so a decent amount of power
Oh Nick 🤦♂️, do some better research. In 1984 when the SVO was introduced with 175hp, the 5.0 GT only had 165hp. The 5.0 was bumped to 210 HP in 1986 and the SVO was bumped to 200hp. Far from the lowest HP mustang. Plus the SVO was lighter than the GT and handled better. Would have been cool if Forza gave us the modern 2.3 Ecoboost as a swap option.
Anyone else waiting for the Ford Bronco Raptor to be in the game?
the turbo rally is actually the cosworth engine out of the ford rally car that rally students drive. so consider yourself lucky its an actual ford engine the student use
depending on the brand of car, some small ford cars will have the option for a student class rally turbo swap. hence why it only makes 300 horsepower.
I was truly unhappy with this car, since no Ford engines were added as swap options.
the diesel is ford
The '85 SVO, all '86s we're actually '85s, beat the Corvette, and Mustang GT around Willow Springs in Road & Track's test. Having driven one it was light years ahead of my '82 GL with the 157hp V-8.
IF I remember right, 1986 mustangs had 2 versions of v8 carburated and electronic fuel injection. Beings EFI was new, the carb version actually made more H.P. that year at 210 vs. EFI at 200 H.P. So no the SVO was not an any way under powered in comparison, just lacked the low end grunt. I owned a T top and a convertible GT 1988, they both were rated at 225 hp. T top was actually dropped in 1987, but there were a few left over, so they made a few in 1988.
as a big foxbody mustang fan i was really happy to see more foxbodys added to the game, then u swapped in a turbo rally and i dont know im not so happy abou it anymore
0:42 you can thank the 1970 mach 1 and 2020 mach e for that title
The 1974 Mustang Mach 1 came equipped with a 2.8-liter V6, which was capable of mustering little more than 105 horsepower.
SVOs are awesome! Look up John Huber turbo mustang. The 2.3 can be a beast. My 86 with mods was a blast!
Nick during dragstreep: it does not have that much horsepower.
Also customized mustang: 1124 horsepower
Legend has it the SVO is not a true S-V-O unless the authentic bi-plane rear spoiler is optioned.
The hit with the crowd joke made me audibly chuckle
As an svo owner i feel disrespected by the fact that you say it's the least powerful. These things can make 700 hp stock block
I didn't even know this was in the game. My favorite Foxbody of all. Maybe one of my favorite Mustangs
I have always loved the way the svo looked
“Is this the least powerful Mustang”
I’m currently in possession of a 1965 Ford Mustang with the a 200hp v8 so it’s tied there. Idk if there’s a lower powered one
Ford Mustang II. Not even 100hp

@Michael Smithy Hilariously enough they were hugely popular, probably saved the Mustang nameplate from ending up on the scrapheap in the mid-70's.
This reminds me of an elongated Ford Escort RS Turbo with no wing and different tail lights.. 🥴😂
I can see that 😂
It legit has 2 wings
The 2.4l turbo in the Svo was also put in the Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, the Mercury Cougar Xr7, and the Merkur Xr4ti.
The non turbo 2.3 is slower lol. These hung out with the v8s of its time
DJS is gonna have a field day with that stunt park
They should have offered the Rb, 2j, and 2.3 from the focus rs and created some rally parts. The SVO would have been such a cool rally car.
A college organization that I am in is finishing up a 1985 Mustang GT (which originally made only 150 hp). We tossed out that engine and replaced it with a Boss 302 V8 which almost made double the power.
To answer your question, No. The king cobra mustang had a 140 hp V8 which made it less powerful and also there was a LPG version of the 1st gen mustang which had 122 hp! Ridiculous but cool
I just want the new mustang to have an ecoboost option in this game since IRL it comes manual and woul make for some interesting builds in game
Nick: oh yeah I wish we had Ford Mustang engine swaps(proceeds to throw Chevy LS engine in it)
I had the 86 fox body when I was younger it was a 6.2 V8 cobra engine tho had amazing power

They should've added the Hoonifox bodykit for it.
Really nice performance/sports car back in the 80s.
The fact it had a 4 cylinder engine was not very appealing though...
Slowest mustang built was the 2nd gen mustang ('74-'78) it was a 84 hp 4 banger

88hp and it remained 88hp through 1986
Uh fun fact, this wasn't the only car that saved ford, the ugly redesigned focus also saved ford from bankruptcy

When a foxbody mustang meets a Thunderbird turbo coupe, you get the SVO.
0:49 oh nick you must have forgotten about the mustang II
Hey nick my dad has one of those mustangs it’s the 86 model but he turned it into a drag car and it can do about 12 sec on a quarter mile it’s amazing. It’s his own custom color I believe it’s in house of color as Walker blue it’s amazing
The SVO actually made the same amount of horsepower as the 5.0 made in the same year and the least powerful version made about 78 hp
Yes, but it had a 4 cylinder...
Let's keep it real!
Big V8 on an American sports car! 💪
That's what they are known for internationally!
If I want a 4 or 6 cylinder car, I'll get a German or Japanese car! 😉👍
TFW you own an '89 Mustang GT IRL and no game has ever put out a late 80s 5.0 mustang. Instead, you're teased by a '93 SVT and an '86 SVO.
Imagine how i feel as an svo owner. Never thought id see an svo in a video game. Its not even in the mustang only video game 🤣
Bruh fox bodies are fast as hell man my dad outruns 2018 cars in his STOCK foxbody 1993
Totally agree with your comment on your engine swapping choice issue.
Would be lovely if we can have Coyote/Voodoo V8 choice, even the 2L turbo from Focus RS!
bro this was a badass car a 4 cylinder turbo... same as the thunderbird turbo coupe
9:49 That look 😂
And gas prices are still high like I could just trade a Ferrari FXX-K
I'm currently in the process of swapping a turbo 2.3 into my na 2.3 foxbody. I think the svo was sick
This was the first game i played on "Xbox" aka PC w Game Pass. Def worth the change from PS4. This games been awesome. Only saying this bc I started during this season.
I know this dude’s a JDM guy, but sheesh his Mustang knowledge was gnarly. There’s literally a lower horsepower Mustang IN Forza, the King Cobra. The SVO is a great Mustang, it’s just a product of its era. Obviously not going to be faster than pre-gas crisis Mustangs, but I mean there were V8 Mustangs in that era that were far slower & sometimes had less HP too. Shoulda just read the Mustang Wikipedia article, that’s like the most basic source for info ever & you woulda known so much more than you did in the vid.
This video actually hurts my head. Shelby stopped making cars for ford after 1984 because of a car that ford made and Shelby sued them. I actually have the car that they made that year. Abviously after many years they started making cars again for them. This is also not the first turbo 4 cylinder they’ve made. They also made a turbo 4 cylinder version of my 84. Foxbody’s are the most iconic mustang ford has ever made just in general.
Produced from 1974-1978, the Mustang II was initially offered without an available V8, leaving consumers to choose between an abysmal 84 horsepower four-banger, or an undeniably anemic inline-six.
They neeeeed a notchback foxbody !!!!
Blegh just what we needed another crustang...
As a mustang fan I was so excited for this but I’m disappointed especially with the engine options. I just kept the factory motor and built it from there
@9:14 ooof Nick crashed into a tree.
they did it for fuel prices reasons, Not to mention the fuel prices today are crazy
I actually almost bought one of those mustangs for my first car
video idea: freeze tag in the stadium since its like that
This car just boggles the mind as an addition. we already have a foxbody cobra R, if they really specifically wanted a performance ford of riughly the same age the taurus SHO is right there.
Lowest hp mustang was the all motor 4 cylinder from the same Era that made 88hp.
That KTM is the best S1 car for tight tracks.

Also I'm challenging you to build a c class drift car and put a high score on the vulcano drift zone

i have a Mini Cooper in FH5 with fully upgraded turbo rally I4 AWD, just for fun, top speed is about 340km/h.

Every new Forza game I always hope for a 5.0 , 5.8 or 5.2 liter to throw in the foxbody platform but nope we have yet to get the cool modern ford motor swaps
The most feeble Mustang came with the N/A version of the SVO engine putting out 88hp. In the 80s, 200 ho was actually a lot.
