Thanks for the video. Will the mac work on variable turbo?

Oscar Barberena yes but you would want to tune the car to make sure it does not over boost. What car you trying to wire the mac in? What’s the setup?

How does your computer know what gear it is in?

Rust Belt Auto when you load a base map on hondata you specify what transmission your car has, either gsr, b16, type r, etc. Once you pick the correct transmission the software will know whenever you shift gears, the transmission has a sensor that counts the teeth on your your differential and final drive, etc and also from the speed sensor since every gear can only go up to a certain mile per hour.

@@projectcarsmodz1775 okay. So it must use rpm and wss, because a mt only has wss, and reverse switch on a d16. I was wondering about that. Thanks!

    Can you list the parts..?

al3xuk you will need 4 90 degree quick connectors, 2 will be used for the boost Solenoid, then the other two will be used for the turbo and wastegate. You will need a T quick connect that will be used to connect the quick connect from the turbo to the bottom of the wastegate then out to port 1 on the boost solenoid. Then connect top of the wastegate to port 2 of the solenoid. And of course the quick connect line, get 7-8 feet. The line is cheap the connectors cost a few bucks each.
