Hello! How long is going to be different for everyone and depends on what needs to be corrected and the condition of the hair. The time can be anything from a day to several weeks and months.

I went to the salon and I typically get a hot chocolate dark brown color on bottom (under ) of my long hair & get a cool very light blonde on the top. the girl mixed the wrong colors, dyed my slightly faded top blonde color a hot chocolate (I think-all I know it was very dark). so they next tried to strip it out ( I think) with a toner? and then tried to pull tons of tiny foil highlights through it to lighten in more. (she kept mentioning using a 10?) it is still very orangey looking with a darkish look to it. what can I do??? she mentioned me coming back in in a few days for a toner, but honestly im scared to go back. what can I use to go back to my light white blonde?
