I helped a relative move to Katy many years back, i fell in love and then moved to Katy in 1989 to 1992, moved back to Boston. Now i made the move again in 2018 because i love Katy that much. It is probably one of the best places to live and laugh, i have helped a few others make the transition to Katy and they are all happy here. I should mention i am a licensed Realtor in both states so being able to travel to both places i love so much is a wonderful thing and to be able to help others achieve buying their future home makes life even better. Hope you find what your looking for in Katy, it is hot hear so don't expect anything less. Two things that always come up when people talk about Katy, the best schools and taxes are a bit high, well it is worth it...... come and find out. I live in Elyson which is just a few years old and growing quickly but all the surrounding subdivisions are all great. Enjoy and stay safe.

I feel you...I'm from San Fran and after visiting my wife's family in Katy I found myself exhausted just thinking about what I had to deal with out in Cali. I can tell you for sure I forsee TX in my future.

Well the houston metropolitan area is very diverse and Texans tend to be a lot nicer than other states. Moved here from California in 2015. I love it.
