I'm not typically a fan of kids being featured in CZcams videos.... But but but, that's because so many videos it feels like the kids are being exploited. Both of your videos did a great job of featuring them as guests and with love. Plus the art was fun! 😁
Aw, I'm glad. Yeah, I agree about the kids thing. I definitely wouldn't push them into something like this. The squishy video was Landon's idea and then Phoebe got jealous that I did a video with him and not her. 😂 Now they're even and unless they come to me wanting to do another, they'll just be background features moving forward. Hahaha.
Phoebe is So Adorable!!!!! 🥰 She reminds me of my little niece. ❤️ I Love Phoebe's choices and I am a Big Fan of Unicorns, Comic Strips, and Cute things and the camping unicorn is so Creative and Beautiful. 🩵🦄🏕️💙

Dawww, thank you! 🥰 I think I've gotten into the groove of the two videos per week and there might just be an odd week here or there where I cut it down to one. Like I'm taking the weekend of the 30th off for Phoebe's Birthday and Easter. That next week, there's for sure only going to be one video, but yeah... I'm really enjoying doing other things alongside Create This Book, so I'll keep it coming!
Hahaha. I did panic slightly when she did pick it. I had pretty clear ideas in my head of what I'd draw if it was either of the others, but it was a fun challenge. She never fails to keep my on my toes. Hahaha.
To be honest, I felt like her initial reaction was a little "meh," but she's been keeping it on a table in her room and gets very upset if anybody tries to move it. Hahaha. So I think she likes it.
Love the way she communicates with you, it’s so obvious she is comfortable and having a great time. I think it’s so great to include her in your work. Fantastic content, can’t wait to see all the other cool stuff you create!

If I would produce children books I would ask you for doing all the pictures. The idea that children can actually help with the colors and „things „ is awesome. I think children would read more if their ideas were included.

Omcuteness she is your mini me. I thought for sure she'd pick pink. I love the flashcards. Even before your drawing those were the coolest. I would really love that painting card as a sticker. The comic strip is a great idea. The flashcard unicorn was more like the despicable me unicorn plush or toy story's buttercup. The unicorn is so cute. I don't even know what i can compare the style to because like all unicorns, she's unique. I think my favorite panel is the campfire cuz the horn marshmallow is really cute and definitely could see her having sparkling rainbow smores. ✏️ 🦄 💙 🏕️
It is satisfying using the colourless blender, seeing all the white disappear. Although is it just me, but it gives me a waxey look that I see in the light and it stands out against areas I didn't do it with?
I agree, it definitely creates a shine. Since I modpodge everything in this book, it evens out the finish. Otherwise that would drive me crazy. Hahaha.
Hahaha! So funny that you said that - That's exactly what we did. We got her one for her birthday and she's insisted it goes on top of her bed so she can sleep in the tent, but have the comfort of her mattress🤣

Hahaha! I don't know how you do it. I love to use them for shading and details over marker and watercolor, but building up solid color from scratch.... such a pain in the wrist.😂
😉 I've been using them ever since I could hold a pencil. It's what I'm "familiar" with and comfortable with. 🙂 Markers and I don't get along very well, I love/hate my collection of Shapries.... they smell so bad and strong, and they don't last long... but they're great vibrant colours... . (and I don't have any of the expensive ones). and Watercolours are extremely challenging for me.... but I DO like using mixed media in my art journals. so like you said, using another medium as a "base coat" and shading and highlighting with pencils is a great look and technique. 😊👍anyway.... I guess, it's all what you get used to. 🙂

We tried to relocate it and she was very upset... said her dad was "trying to take it." So I guess that's where it will stay for now 😂
