It's so nice to meet another INFJ who is ALSO a stay-at-home mom who ALSO likes to make (slightly spooky, creepy) art and ALSO has a cat named after Prince! 🤣 My daughter is special needs and requires high support, so my art channel has been on the back burner for years. Hearing how you manage things makes me feel inspired to give it a try. I never would have thought to customize a coloring book like that. You did an amazing job and I love all the shading. WOW, so basically we're just living the same life! Hahaha. It is a lot to juggle (and it sounds like you definitely have more outside demands than I do), but I definitely think it helps that art is so ... almost therapeutic in a way. Even though the channel has added a LOT to my plate, I also enjoy the time I put in, because it's so relaxing. Cheers to us moms trying to do it all. Hahaha. Happy New year!💕

Truth! Being a CZcamsr is tough! I'm a Spoonie (hence the name) and so late hours are how I get anything done as well. I feel you on the no sleep. Don't think I've had a full nights sleep in over a decade. Man I wish that was an exaggeration, but nope.
I watched your Draw My Life and it was very interesting to learn about how you got to where you are. Super proud of you. Yes, I am a stranger and my validation means nothing, nevertheless, still proud.
Not a cat person but for some reason I like doodling and crocheting cats. It's fun!

Oh my goodness, that's a crazy schedule! Your poor body (and brain, since brain fog & such is a major thing with sleep deprivation). Anyway, it was fun to hear your answers while I was decorating my bujo (planner) with watercolor =) And lovely to "meet" your cats!
It really is, but again it's only on my art days and when, luckily, I have some help around the house. I have been "forgetting why I came into this room" a lot more lately though. Hahaha. Hopefully not for much longer.
My best friend has been allergic to cats for her whole life. About a year ago, she discovered she’s no longer allergic to them. For 55+ years she’s not been able to stay around cats, and now they don’t affect her. I’m allergic to birds, but had a parrot for almost 20 years. I just sucked it up, because I wasn’t going to get rid of my sweet little boy. 🤷♀️

I had to get a new phone and a new email but I've commented that you were youtubes most underrated artist before and I really feel that way. I didn’t find the SAHM life that hard til I was home with 3 kids. All of which have special needs. And then it was like help me. Helppppp meeeeee
Working is hard but at least I get to see people now 😂 I was drowning in loneliness and overwhelm before.
That being said- I’m an elementary school librarian now and my kids LOVE the how to draw books (and iSpy, you’ve mentioned those before). They’re all super well-loved books. I’m hoping to order some new ones this school year. Maybe some that cover manga, anime, graphic novels etc.

Love the Q&A, really liked getting to know you a bit better. I was just like you, I grew up wanting to draw/colour because of my mum who is great at art. I also go to the library and take out how to draw books and other books like animals or flowers so I had a reference to copy and when I did the test I also got INFJ but INFJ-T. 😅Unfortunately I developed a few illnesses over my teenage years and my hobbies, school and pretty much everything started to get less time until i kinda didn’t have the creative energy or physical energy to attend to them. Plus doing art for school (especially subjects and mediums I either couldn’t get in to/the hang of or just didn’t enjoy it.)😢 But now I’m kinda getting more used to my illnesses and how they affect me so I’m very, very slowly trying to get back into my hobbies, especially drawing, colouring and other arty things. I feel a bit like I’m starting over again so I do struggle but watching videos like yours help me crave to get back to my art so I can improve. You give me so much inspiration and help to encourage me.

That is so so sweet. Twin types! I understand 100% how hard it is to get back into it. I'm sorry that health issues - something totally out of your control has taken you away from what you love. And I can absolutely identify on the school thing - being forced to create something specific always felt like work, never fun. I like the prompt books, because they give me a direction, but I can interpret it however I want. Anyways, I appreciate you watching and hope you are able to ease back in to doing some art. PS there are feeders that work with microchips or a collar so one cat can't eat all the others foods. We one so the dogs don't eat the cats food.

Your art is such a cool style that I’ve never really seen before and it inspired me to practice my art so much more. But I do have a question for you, if you don’t mind me asking what your ethnicity is?
I don't mind at all! I'm a mish-mosh of a whole bunch of things, but most prominently my mom is black, french, and german while my dad was german and mexican.
i also starte d coloring at 4 and like at 6-7 i started drawing i look back now i wonder how did i get here? :\
It really is a process. awesome though that we've both had art pretty much our whole lives.
Fun fact, the mbti isn’t a valid or reliable personality test according to psych academia! I recommend trying the “Big 5” personality test instead ❤

I guess as of right now, the only characters I've created are all non-human (ie orctapus, cromingo, marla the mantis, mildred von croak, etc.) I'll have to work at making some human ones. Well, I guess my forest witch on the CTB3 cover counts, but I don't think I ever gave her a name.... hmmm. Things to work on.

To be honest, I started out doing one and bonus videos were a rare thing. I have to do Create this book every week or it will take me forever to finish and I'll probably lose interest before getting there. I love the create this book, but I like to change it up from time to time and my viewers like to see other stuff too, so that's where the second video comes in.
