I hate the HP values we have again, all these absurd numbers are just silly. Also hate to see Ret struggling again with no damage and worse mobility.
I agree, I hoped they would do a number squeeze again.
Ret damage isn’t the only one underfunded I promise it’s a game wide thing besides a couple outliers

Why do you hate the HP values ?
I don't know, but just looking at all class/specs changes everyone is getting defensives buffs, while paladins are getting mostly nerfs to defensives and self healing.

@@matteocamerlingo1997 couldn’t be more bias and ignorant in the way rets have had their healing and defensives nerfed since their reworks in 10.5 thanks in part to people as yourself crying. Worst hybrid healing in the game and current defensives get ran through. Passive healing from dhs and warriors with an occasional victory rush out heal rets
I wish they would reset the numbers a little, they are so large its crazy!
How are pure dps classes healing better than hybrid classes?
Wow retail have no sense since time ago. There are no class identities at all. So much self healing have ruined the game.

Because hybrid classes (Druid) are outdamaging pure dps classes over the past 3 expansions

Hey man, love your content! Im a returning player after a long time and im struggling to find a main to PVP with as i have limited time to play, i like Warrior, Dk and Demon hunter. Out of these what would you suggest to main for all PVP content and going into TWW? Thanks!

Why did they ever make cloth classes so tanky?

because those devs doesnt know the Philosophy of the classes anymore.
And when a plate class is tanky, as it should be, especially Ret, streamers and the arena forum get intantly triggered and complain until its nerfed.
That was actually so sad to see... a warrior outhealing a ret... and then you would see people still have the audacity to say that we have strong offhealing like idk where this guys are living of smoking(i want some) but they need help.
PS. all of this is happening before any tuning passes
The warrior outheals the ret simply because of mortal strike on the ret.
@@sygmarvexarion7891 nah its more likely cuz war has % health heals which arent nerfed , where as ret healing is already nerfed(by 3 xpac in row) and also hasnt received tuning so they are balanced as dragonflight numbers at the moment.

im getting MoP vibes from these duels and I personally like it. Might have a different opinion after I play it though. Other than the 30 second wings which I think is great, ret is looking the same as pre rework which is disappointing.
If i need to kite like this when i play my ret, i might as well play hunter...

They haven't done a damage/healing tuning yet.
Some classes do too much, some too little.

Play what you know how to play, but i would say warrior arms is stronger in pvp then ret

I don't think the problem is ret, the problem is every single dps class being its own healer now, as a healer it is really frustrating how dps specs get all the sustain in the world, then they complain about matches taking too long and we healers are the ones who get nerfed.
Imagine this in 2s with a healer. The spammy nature of retail just feels awful you just pve players until dampening kicks in and eventually when the healing reductions high enough someone dies….. it’s so fucking bad 😔
If they revert the Wings PvP nerf bringing it back to 20% instead of 10% in pvp i think i would help alot. With Crusade you dont get a healing buff or crit buff just haste and damage while with reguslr wings you get crit damage and healing buff. We may need that healing buff with how low the heals are

Retribution now means weak DMG, weak Heal and weak Def. Additionally, main Def on GCD and 50% NERF in pvp on some skills kills this class.
Damn definitely looking undertuned. Was quite boring to watch when you aren’t even moving hp bars🤣

It is , ret only has 3 good PvP talents and one you only take for casters which shouldn’t even be a talent it should be a choice node

Warrior has had spear of bastion for 4 years now haha they just gave it a new animation/ name to get rid of the shadowlands theme. I think it’s called champions spear now.
What classes would you say are best for PvP?
Knowing Blizzard one can tell - this will change within first 3 months significantly and several times. They always fix one thing and break another.

I’m gonna guess self healing is high for everyone cause of delves and how you are supposed to do them alone or with a group not needing healers or tanks, probably an indication of pvp being an afterthought again.

Imagine giving healing abilities and passives to any dps class and spec, a heal that is more op than a paladin where pallys have healed from the beggining of wow as a class particularity. Imagine giving a "lay of hands" effect to any dps spec in wow right now. This game lost his class and spec particularities. RIP creativity in dev team.

It’s not great. I have a better build that I found pretty decent success with. Coming in a future vid but right now everyone has too much self sustain for burstier damage to matter.

Gosh! This is terrible! Ret is looking like utter weak sauce right now. Well, we will see if the devs fix overpowered warrior second wind and give ret either more offensive utility, better self-healing and a bit more damage.

it should be slow with high defensive and very good damage and healing.
right know every one goes for haste because the damage and healing is garbage so people have to reduce the cast time of spells and healing so maybe they can heal themself or do high damage by pressing the keys on keyboard for 50 times to kill someone instead of doing few super high deep damages like the old times.
so they said lets change the mastery of ret in the ww but as you see in the video it didnt work,

This games classes do not feel unique. They all can heal. They all can tank. Its just fucking goofy.
The fact that warrior is capable of outhealing a hybrid class is absurd. This "every class should be able to beat every class" kinda ruined the whole hybrid idea...
If a pure dps spec can't outburst a hybrid - hybrid specs should be able to outlast pure dps specs... Otherwise it's just not right.
1v1 comes down to Damage output vs Healing output. The longer the duel goes on, the one with more healing output wins.
You need to have balance in this regard otherwise you get one-sided, boring outcomes.
