Man this album is so underrated. So overlooked. Yeah it was different than what had come before but come on. This is still amazing. Such a happy feeling.
@@sergeantmajor6763 because he went for the mainstream pop sound instead of something of his own, it was tiresome even for him. Just look at the overall composition of the songs, very artificial sounds and synths. Take Bombshell Blonde and his attempt at dubstep on that track, not very good tbh. Or I'm Coming After You, the song feels like a mess of synths and soulless in itself. To some the album might be good and i can see why, but to most of us it is something that he definetly shouldnt have done. Specially when you compare it to his other projects like the Albums, Color Therapy, Port Blue, etc where his tracks are "messier" if youd like, but in a way that actually feels and sounds good. This one, not so much.
