  • Kia ora from beautiful NEW ZEALAND, our 32nd country on our around the world trip! We are well underway on our road trip around the North Island of New Zealand. This time we are stopping at Wai-o-Taupo and the Kaituna River in Rotorua for the ultimate white water rafting experience!
We begin our big day of adventure walking through the colorful geothermal area at Wai-o-Tapu. Just south of Rotorua are New Zealand’s most colorful and unique geothermal elements created by thousands of years of geothermal activity. We loved the Artist’s Palate, Champagne Pond and the glowing “slime” green pool.
The big star of the day was white water rafting in Rotorua, NZ! We went out with our awesome guide, Cam, from Rotorua Rafting to raft over the highest commercially rafted waterfall IN THE WORLD! On the Kaituna River you can raft down Tutea Falls, at over 20 feet high, for the ultimate adrenaline rush! It was flipping exciting!
We hope you enjoyed our North Island New Zealand travel vlog and, as always, we’ll see you in our next video as we Keep Going Places!

Kia Ora! This day was hands down the most adrenaline-pumping day of our travel year yet. We were both a little nervous leading into the waterfall rafting, but the nervous energy quickly turned into excitement as we started paddling down the river. We've found that when you push yourself outside of your comfort zone, you experience some pretty special travel moments. We're so glad we booked this rafting trip and pushed ourselves because we've never felt so alive and accomplished as we did while rafting the Kaituna River in NZ. As we head into 2021, let's push ourselves outside of our comfort zones so we can experience these special travel moments again and keep going places in 2021! -Ashley & Jordan

Hey guys how cool are those colours in the champagne pool! I had to read through your description to find when you travelled cause I got serious travel envy when I found your vid doing some research on NZ travel. I think it'll be one of the first/only options for Aussies to travel OS for a LONG time! Hope your travel wasn't too disrupted... I'll check out some of your earlier vids to find out more 😉 The rafting looking insane, especially those photos showing you go under 😱 How good is NZ?!?

We only had 7 days in New Zealand 🇳🇿 so prioritized the North Island first. That gives us good reason the head back soon though! We hear the South Island is wonderful
