Ex SC2 pro gamer here. Day9 introduced me to this game and I've been playing it on and off for a while. It's great for old Starcraft gamers who lost their 300 APM.
Can also confirm its great for SC players that have 40 APM. :)

I don't often follow up on sponsored games but the aesthetics of this one were real pleasing on the eye, so I'm here for the content.
The game definitely isnt new, but im extremely happy that youre playing it, even as part of an ad, because its very enjoyable to watch, and coupling that with your style of casting and playing being so fresh and comforting i genuinely hope you'll play more of this. I hadn't realized I'd never seen an autobattler that used RTS style groups of units rather than MOBA heroes. Neat idea.

Got it too, though i dont feel it. It frustrates me more than i have fun with it.
Also, i will not play pvp, which I didnt expect the game to focus on. (Im simply not interested in it)
I feel like there is a solid PvE missing which would have probably kept my interest.

@@thuphugg215yeah the single player aspect is not there yet. There's potential for sure, but the current survivor mode is badly designed since enemies are just random every round. The PvP can be tilting for sure, but it's rewarding and you can get very close 5d chess games
Imagine you have two bases, and you build the reaper wall between them.
Where there is not even a reaper jump spot.
Hard AI is not imba. But you my friend...

This reminds me of Desert Strike 2 and the other auto-battlers in SC2. All about unit placement and with a ton of different units/types so the interactions are almost endless but still able to be deciphered and countered
I respect you and your decisions to not constantly monetize your audience, so if a good opportunity comes up for you to get paid, go for it.

The game itself if just really solid. But yeah, harstem is always nice to watch.
you actually want to have the slow long range units far in the front because the fast units will overtake them anyway in order to allow both units to fight at the same time rather than one by one.
if you put slow units behind they will let the fast units fight alone instead

This combines the charm of "real" RTS games like Ogre Battle, "fake" RTS games like Dune 2 clones as well as their in-betweens like "Siege: Dogs of War".

Tech upgrades for units can be great, but you should focus a little more on deploying more units. You can recruit 2 units a turn baseline, and those extra units, even more cheap fodder like the fangs, could have helped shore up your right side and protect your tower longer. Also pay attention to unit speeds, you generally want slower units in the front so your forces engage at the same time. You probably recognized that as a weakness of your formation in the second game.
Nice to see you give the game a try though, it’s a neat strategy concept. Would be cool to see you play a little more and how you learn with more experience!
I am happy to see you tried it. I see this game as modern chess. I am looking forward to seeing more content with it since many things depend on how good the analyzing and planning skills of the player are and how good the player's overall skill is.
These kinds of games are not usually my cup of tea but it looks pretty fun! Nice to see you enjoying it. I might give it a try one day.

Bought it after watching this. Honestly seem like a pretty good game. Longest i have been waiting in que for a ranked game so far is sub 10 sec, so guess it has a good playerbase. Ofc cant speak of que time in higher mmr. But yer seem fun

I play this game when I don't have enough motivation to fire up sc2. It's a time killer for sure
I bought this game for 6 bucks and played for a couple days. Here's my 2cents. First off, it's really fun if you are into any type of auto-battler. The aesthetics are decent, and they don't go very far into the "anime mech" style (which I'm not even very fond of). The single player mode is kinda broken and luck based, so I'd say skip Survival mode or at least get to Insane 1 and stop. Then, the 1v1 pvp is awesome. There are many ways to showcase/express your knowledge of the mechanics of the game, and plenty of ways to make strategic decisions. It can be frustrating at first but if you learn from your mistakes and from your opponents' good plays, you start having way more fun. I reccomend this game a lot, especially with its low price tag

Not your average 'Download for free, enjoy for 30 minutes, pay some minor money to enjoy even more, then about 60 minute later force yourself to still enjoy it because you've already played some money and pay more and made money just so it doesn't become completely unbearable.'

I would totally like to play this game but for some reason it costs double the price for me than in the US. Yeah I guess I'm Swiss. I'll take the 20% price hike for no reason other than "Swiss rich lol". But ffs it costs $8 ($5 with sale) and I have to pay 16 CHF which is actually more than than $16 and the sale price is still 10CHF. WTF??
It is a pretty fun game, alot more relaxing than sc2.

I was watching someone play a demo, and they just paused everything and told us to appreciate how good the music is. I don't remember the exact music, I think it was fine, but it was just annoying because they were obviously told to draw attention to the music by the game.
