I've owned my pool business for 17 years! There is more to pool cleaning then vacuuming a pool. You better know water chemistry, repairs, diagnostics ect ... There is a national shortage on chemicals and prices have tripled for basic chemicals you need on your truck. Pool techs are giving their routes away in Orange County because of the shortage and massive gas prices... Plus, customers hates when their account is sold and you'll lose 20% of the customers the 1st month....

@@02callmethebreeze I’m sure you figured this out by now if you’re even still in the industry cause most are out in 3-5 years. but you get an account with a wholesaler and purchase your chemicals and supplies through them. Leslie’s, SCP, PEP, Alpha, Etc.

I am seeking some investment guidance. It seems like I am never able to identify trends, options always go against me, and I can't utilize scanners efficiently. I am looking for a simple reproducible passive income strategy that supplements my income and eventually replace my wage income.
Investment needs intensive research, charting, and then to understand theta decay on options etc. so much to explain my friend. Hiring a coach maybe the correct route for you. But it’s all over the web just not in order.

The money is not in cleaning pools. Doing pool repairs is where the money is. Pools are a money pit.
And pool installation, cleaning pools is like buying a tiring minimum wage job but the clients are worse than a boss, and you can easily lose clients
@@BK-uf6xm True. It is a grind. Just about anybody can clean a pool. Learning the chemicals takes a little time. But not everybody can do repairs. The profit margin on repairs is big.

A tight route with carefully selected accounts…a good service guy can pull ~ $200 an hour
No need to buy a pool business. Get out there and hustle. I generated more than $100k a year for multiple years with less than a $500 investment for equipment and business cards. Did not need to buy a business to get started. Everyone wants the easy way.....

Great video. It's just seems soooo much work for $100k, I mean CEO, CFO, partners, GM, employees, all the digital marketing and maintenance required. Not mocking anybody, but comparing that to Amazon sellers, you need one mediocre $35 product and 4 hours a week to do $100K
No one spending 4 hours a week is making even 5 figure on Amazon 😂

So what services was your pool guy going to provide for $300?
She was very vague. The pool could be very large, it could have multiple pumps/filters, lots of vegetation around the pool, and/or could be a pool serviced twice a week. Lots of factors to charge $300 a month
Imagine doing an interview about how good you are at streamlining a pool company and then doing it around the pool that's dirty and Has calcium build up all over it. Haha.
Maybe its his own pool lol . Ive seen builders and service owners with the worst pools ever and I never want a pool in my house.
The market use has been pretty bad until today he decided to go up. Everyone was practically crying at the time. He kept diving.

This one is pretty straight forward revenue the p&l, historical tax returns, client list, churn, employee org chart, vendors and contracts, and determine the valuation based on profit and if it’s quantifiable
