As I briefly mentioned in a previous recent video... I have been uploading a little less lately as I have been struggling with my hand pain (I have multiple issues: repetitive strain/osteoarthritis/inflammation, nerve & tendon pain) plus having the time and energy to film/edit around my job and rest my hands (which is what I'm supposed to be doing but don't). For now, I plan on uploading every other week which I will find a huge help. Thanks so much for your patience, understanding and continued support, I really appreciate it. I still post every few days on Instagram/FB so if you miss me feel free to follow me on there ☺️🧡 (Links below)

Gal,,,This ole Texas Boy, loves your channel!
Thank you ☺️🌿✨🌺
You're getting ready for winter in the garden. Leaves and stems can be dried and used as manure next spring.😀
Yes they will be composted 🌿
Your garden still looks so nice in winter 😉
Natural soggy and wet is all good. Natural cycle of life. Great video. Thank you again. Keep up the good work Hannah❤️❤️❤️
Good for the garden, not for me 😆🌿🌺🌻
Still your garden looks great with the cold days, winter comes with a price ,it herts to see our plants not do so well for a while...but , looking forward
to warmer days helps...
🌱💚🪴🏵️
I feel so fortunate living in the Mediterranean, no need to do anything to the garden in the winter
Lucky 😄🌿🌺
I love your video , nice plants ,thank you for sharing 👍👍
Beautiful! I didn’t realize you are in a warmer climate, zone 8b. I’m in 8a. My new tree fern struggled this year in a pot. Yours looks great & you actually leave it outdoors. Wow. I leave my banana’s outside in ground & cut them back in late February. They always do well. I love your tropical paradise & it’s a perfect size to keep up with.
Always enjoy looking at your tropical oasis it’s such a labor of love and attention to detail. I live in Pensacola Florida and while we don’t get many night below 32 it still manages to kill back the colacasias and banana plants. Wish I could pick up or order some fleece bag as as you call them so I could keep them a little talker
Just found your channel and I am in LOVE with your oasis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks and welcome ☺️🌿🌺🌻✨🦩
Those huge banana leaves are perfect for making tamales 😂
It's so cold over there, I couldn't stand it if I lived there. We get 16° here during the cold front season and I'm freezing.
your garden is so beautiful! I'm going to try your method to overwinter my ensete maurelii this year.
Thank you ☺️🧡🌺🍁🌻
hi Hannah breaks my heart to see all hard work come to an end in the garden for 2021 and roll on 2022 spring ,i hate this time of year i always feel sad ,but look forward to the flower vids in doors and grimes of garden as weeks go by.ps the banana in the middle island looks like a lady lol tc kay.
I wish I was a little warmer here in KY. We get down to 10° F for a low every now and then below 0. I would love to have some of the tropics in my yard too. I love your tree fern.
Lol 😊 Thanks Hannah! .. been waiting for this from you! Ive dug up and draining my ensete maurelii i have 2 banana trees musa basjoo .. I'm going to wrap up in fleece Musa cavendish .. which i have no clue how to over winter.. i don't really want them in the house for fear of insects!!😩 and i don't have a green house. I live in London so hopefully it won't get THAT cold! 😰
Beautiful!
Love your videos. What is an "airing cupboard"? I've never heard of this. I pulled my caladiums at the end of October since we get a little cooler in my part of Canada than you get. I air dried them then packed them in pet wood shavings & store them in my basement. Take care of yourself.💚
It’s a large cupboard that contains a hot water tank, it’s always lovely and warm in there so a good place to dry clothes etc. A lot of people put shelving up inside them and this is where you keep bedding and towels etc 🌻
Just been looking at your video again with admiration and noticed that your evergreen borders are still looking great and really full. Would you mind me asking the size of your plot and central island if you can remember. Many thanks once again
Amazing what you do to protect your plants. I’m in the subtropics and was just wondering what happens to the tree ferns in winter. Cheers 🇦🇺 Bronwyn
The fronds can brown a little but they look pretty good. I’ll do a winter tour in next few months so you can see how it’s all looking 🌿
❤💙💚💛💜
Ur garden is still looking great! Looking forward to next spring when it will b in it's full glory. Will the ground cover survive the cold weather? R u will have to put new plant in
Thanks! Yes all the cannas etc come back every year 🌺🌻
I cannot find your summer 2021 garden video. I wanted to show my friend.
Just wondering what did you do with the banana leaf? Did you have to throw them all away?
I compost them 🌿🌺
Your garden is looking good even with winter coming. Changed a bit from last year!
Do you protect your Cordyline ‘Peko’ in the central bed?
Thank you 🌺 No I don’t protect any of my Cordylines 🌿
Love your videos:) what zone are you in?
It's hard to chop the beautiful plants, i have done the same now.
Im going to do my first Banaplant also.
Did you put something inside the fleece? Or can i just wrap it around it and cover up the floor with leaves?
I wanted to use jutte myself (don't know the English name) and 4 Branches to wrap the jutte around and inside that leaves. And also on the floor.
No I just wrap with fleece and tie with either jute or some garden flexi tie 🌻
@@TropicalPlantAddict thanks
Hi Hanna, just watched the vid lve literally just done all the chopping back and lifting but unlike you lve lifted the cannas as well, but l do have one question seeing as you are the caladuim queen when is the best time to start them off ?Oh and can you wrap my crimbo prezzys up even that looks great🤣
I plant my caladium bulbs March time 🌻
@@TropicalPlantAddict thanks Hanna I'll keep you posted😃
Beautiful plants 😍 👍. Do you keep maurelli in a pot on purpose, to keep him smaller 🤔
Yes I don’t have room to plant out in the borders etc now 🌿🌺
@@TropicalPlantAddict 👍☀️🦋
I thought with pink China you didn’t need to cut it back or is that incorrect?
I planted my first one this summer so I’m keeping an eye on what you do with yours! 😅
I cut mine back towards the end of the video and mulched over them 🍁🍂
Where do you get your plants
Great video.Where do you buy your black plant labels from
I got them from Amazon, they are linked in my Amazon shop in the description box 🌻
Are the fleece bags reusable? I can't see anywhere where it mentions that. Have you used yours for many winters? x
Yes they are reusable. I bought mine last year 🌺🌻🌿
@@TropicalPlantAddict ah great. It will be so much easier using these instead of wrapping horticultural fleece round and round! 😊 you have such a good eye for design and very good at making things. I'm yet to do some pilings like yours x
@@paulagendre-chardoux9835 thanks yes it’s much easier! 🌺🍁🍂
Can I leave my elephant ear in the pot and cut it off. And cover it up? Help my friend.Mama Long Greenville Tx 🙏🏾
Hi there what variety is it? 🌿
A big leaf elephant ear in a pot in doors. Will it live all winter?I'm not able to dig it up. Thank you 😊
@@mamalongsplants1559 ah ok so your bringing your plant inside for winter. That should be fine. Depending on more variety is you could leave it outside, that’s why I asked 🌿
Thank you Happy Thanksgiving 😇🙏🏾
