    Such a clear, calm presentation. Wonderful!! I am not new to making great pizza by any stretch of the imagination, but am used to dedicated pizza ovens, this shows that good pizza is possible with one of these contraptions! Excellent tips in here for sure THANKS

      You should! I wanted to get a Big Green Egg to cook pizzas but couldn't justify the high price. I then found this attachment for a Weber Kettle grill and its been awesome. our family really enjoys it and its not a huge investment. Well thanks for watching.

    We've been making sourdough pizza crust. We usually pre cook a fee extra for a quick pizza in the oven. What kind of dough do you use? We use corn meal under the pizza.

    • @onesimplechef
      @onesimplechef  Před rokem +1

      At the moment we use store bought pizza dough... at culinary school we used to make it so maybe this fall I will try and make it again.... sometimes I use corn meal under the pizza but found flour works just as well

    Pizza looks good. Why use the lighter fluid if you have a chimney starter? It kind of defeats the purpose.

    • @onesimplechef
      @onesimplechef  Před 11 měsíci +1

      I grew up in the 80's whenever we cook with charcoal, we use a ton of lighter fluid. But yes I know the chimney charcoal starter is designed to be used without lighter fluid.

  • @jenhilliard
    @jenhilliard Před 10 měsíci +4

    Lighter fluid 🤦🏻‍♀️it’s so gross.

    • @onesimplechef
      @onesimplechef  Před 10 měsíci +3

      I know... most people would agree but I grew up in the 80s, so I'm used to grilling and using a cup of lighter fluid. Well thanks for watching

    So use lighter fluid or not? You did...

    • @onesimplechef
      @onesimplechef  Před měsícem

      Honestly, you probably shouldn't use lighter fluid. But I grew up in the 80s and how can you not use lighter fluid when you light charcoal.
