same i mix it up and let it sit for 5 mins , then shake agian and down it, better results in the gym
I can never drink a Protein Shake during a workout. It makes me feel dehydrated and nauseated. I take the Post-Jym BCAA cocktail mixed with 45oz of water and sip on that while I train and take Pro-Jym after my workout is over.
I'm almost done with my first tub of pre jym and it's awesome! I ordered the 4lb pro stack and that got here today. So I'm looking forward to trying the pro and post jym. For those of you that care, here is how I take pre jym: I use 14/15 ounces of water and I let it sit for a few minutes after shaking it up really good. I then shake it again and drink it over the course of about 15-20 minutes, finishing it right before I go in the gym. I usually feel it kick in about 5 minutes after being in the gym. It gives me a great pump and gets my muscles pumping blood. I can definitely tell that I hit more reps and more weight after using it. And the cherry limeade tastes great!

This is great information here, but it should be on the product label. Use a fold-out if you have to. Your customers chose your product because we're slightly more discerning than your average meatheads and appreciate your thoughtful insights. I absolutely love Pre-Jym! It's best-in-class by a mile. I'm not sold on your other stuff yet but always enjoy your writing. Cheers!

That is a little different than I do it. I like to take my projym pre and post and drink water between. I also haven't been waiting long enough before downing the post jym. I'll shake it for a longer time now. Great stuff doc!

Thanks for this Doc. Probably explains why I would get nauseous on PreJym, I was using a standard size Blender Bottle and chugging it. Odd this is PostJym never did that to me.
I have all 3 of these products and theyve served me well. Although I do think the pushing of that post workout window for protein is vastly overrated, most experienced gym goers know you have some time to get it in and maximize recovery. I do, however, agree about the need to take post jym and dextrose immediately, from experience I do feel better after a workout then I used to. Good supps, big fan.
Wow! Taking Pre-Jym just like doctor said gives me a lot of energy.. I used to gulp it down... But now after taking 45 mins to drink it... it really makes a lot of difference.. no stomach cramps... gradual increase in energy... so no sudden jitterrs.
I remember reading somewhere that some benefit has been found to having a steady supply of protein before, during, and after - so maybe I'm thinking since I usually make so many trips to the water fountain, I may as well do like you and drink something tasty and useful while I'm there.

I actually just mix all of the supplements into an office water machine jug custom fit with a shoulder strap and I start drinking about an hour before my workout and finish it all off after about an hour after my workout. At first I felt silly carrying it around while I work out, but gainz ya know.
I'm liking pre jym so far since it's not just an expensive stimulant, but why doesn't the container recommend 20-24oz of water like you do here? It only tells you to use 14oz.

I have Pre, Post & Pro- I could swear on the directions on Pre Jym, it states mix with 14 oz. of water, on Pro, it says mix with 6 oz of water & PostJYM says mix with 12oz- I assume these are wrong- you may want to change the directions on the packets. I also down the 14oz of PreJym as soon as I wake, as I work out first thing in the morning- I didn't know about sipping PreJYM- I thought you downed it all at once- please advise- I love the products, just want to ensure I'm taking them correctly- thanks!
Hey Jym, question... With the pre Jym do I sip on it for 40 minutes before my workout or sip on it till its gone and wait 40 minutes. And is it crucial to drink the Protien shake during the workout and after? Because when I bought your post I don't drink Protien after my workout I drink it in the mornings and nights.

Hey I'm looking to put on mass over the summer. For the post workout do u recommend that I use either the post jym active matrix or the post jym dextrose, or a packet of both. I do plan on getting pre and pro jym to have a complete system to help build mass. Also is it better to mix the pro jym in water or fat free milk or skim milk.
what do you recomend post workout food to spike insulin for diabetic patient. (pixie stick)

I tried this regimen 4 days now and everyday I got nauseous. A few observations:
1. That's a large volume of liquid over a relatively short amount of time.
2. A lot of different ingredients over a short time
3. 50 g of protein intraworkout seems extreme since your blood supply is being redirected during your workout to aid in digestion.
4.i was nauseous at the end of each workout and it was hard to slug down the big volume of post Jym and dextrose.
Any comments on how to reconfigure this regimen other than use less water?
Do you really need protein and post workout recovery drink one one after the other? Possibly take 1/2 the protein before workout and the other half immediately after, then hold off on the post for an hour or so?

i only use the dextrose and i just put half a scoop in my mouth drink some water and then repeat for the last half

Very informative video about what's in each just like it is on the labels. I really want to buy these but the price of them is really putting me off there is no way i would spend over 100 euro on these.

Jim in the directions for Pro Jym it says 6 oz of water for a scoop. You put up to 3 scoops in your water. Was that 24 oz of water also like in the Pre Jym?

Excellent video. I take your pre, post, pro, dextrose, shred and alpha products with great success. I just watched this (have watched several others over the past 2 weeks). I adhere to IF and train in a fasted state mid day. I'm unable to take digest the pro protein during work outs. Thus, would you recommend taking the Pro Protein + Dextrose immediately after working out and THEN the Post or the Post + Dextrose immediately after working out and then the Pro Protein

And Pro maybe you can add half a scoop during and rest of it much after you're done with Post
or have the Pro after you're done with Pre and Post/dextrose..
I hope that's not confusing but just know your body and play around a bit after you've read your body response well..
But IMHO , don't fidget with Pre and Post - have them right before and after your workout.. as it's intended to be..
it's just the Pro you gotta have to play around with..

for someone like me, I can't spend (if I heard him right he said he lets it sit for 50 mintues) 2 hours on pre workout. I love prejym, flavor is amazing, but one thing I do notice is I never got a serious pump with it. By far it is the cleanest energy I got out of all pre workouts, no rush and no crash and clear focus, but the muscle pump IMO is key and prejym does not offer that. Projym, absolutely works. Ever since using it I can feel my muscles are more dense now and appear to be fuller. Never tried postjym or any other products because that's just a waste

Silman Saleem Ok. Supplements have very little impact overall to body composition, strength, conditioning, training, endurance, etc. Maybe a 2-5% impact if you take supplements that actually work. And I mean aas and to a much lesser degree creatine, not over priced JYM garbage. Focus on nutrition. Levels of importance 1. lifestyle, energy balance 2. macronutrients 3. micronutrients 4. meal timing and a distant 5. supplements. Biggest impact is nailing #1 and #2. JYM usually bans anyone revealing this information since it does not help him get richer off of scamming blokes like you but I dont care its solid info. Find maintenance calories by multiplying your weight x 10, then an energy multiplier of 1.3 - 2 depending on your daily activity level (I go with 1.3 - 1.4 since I sit around a lot coaching others and relaxing, I dont work a strenuous job like construction). so a 200lb male x 10 = 2000 cals then x 1.3 is 2600cals. Adjust for your own weight. Now that we found your maintenance, increase cals by 500 to gain, or decrease by 500 to lose, and this is a decent starting point. Eating around 1gram protein per pound of bodyweight. Fats around 60-80. More specifically about 40% of your calories should come from protein, 20-30% from fats and the rest carbs. None of this is set in stone, find what works best for you, but its a good starting point, with higher protein when cutting, can drop lower to 30% while bulking. Cutting I encourage my athletes to consume foods with more "bulk" that are less calorically dense, and bulking raise fats and carbs, shoot for 1lb gain per week, but avoid dirty bulking since it will just make cutting that much longer and harder. Next micronutrients, you always want to eat a few sevings of fruits and veggies daily and take a multivitamin as "insurance". Wont do much for training but helps with micros. Meal timing doesnt truly matter as much as hitting daily calories/macros. But all of this is much more important than supplementation, but JYM doesnt want you to know that. What else would you like to know?

I have been feeling great tho. Beasting in the gym. But starting now I will do the slow sip method. Just saying tho. Put it on the bottle "sip slow bitches"

I love his products. I always use PreJym ProJym and PostJym. I get a great workout and recover very quickly which is most important.
My only complaint is the dextrose. Mixing that with the Active Matrix makes the drink very very sweet and I have a sweet tooth. The instructions in the vid is good but when applied, you may have a full belly of liquid and it can affect the workout.
I generally just have PreJym b4 workouts and ProJym or PostJym after. Not both right away.

None of these products have anything major which reduces cortisol postworkout. Can you add vitamin C, or zinc, why no phosphatidylserine? I know its expensive but why won't you add it...
so in this video you say 20-24 oz of water with almost each sup. On your products it recommends around 14-18 oz. for the pre and post... should I listen to the advise on the channel or on the product??

ive been taking the pre, pro, and post jym for a few weeks now (using your tips from this video). i feel a little bloated in my stomach from all the liquid (24ish oz) in my PreJYM. is that normal or will i get used to that?
I'm having a very hard time with all the fluid!! I get a lot of nausea. I have to do my workout at 5AM before work and it's all I can do to drink Pre JYM. I can't get down 75oz of fluid from before workout through just after. I'm adjusting my timing to fit my tolerance

The ingredient profile is actually very good, but this stuff doesn't work for me. I workout at 5am and when I take pre-jym I get some really bad cramps for most of the morning. Not sure if it's the 300 mg of caffeine or something else. Even mixing it with 24 oz of water it still wrecks me. I haven't had this issue with Clash, which is also has a great profile.
you're probably in a dehydrated state, wake up earlier and drink some water. 15-30 minutes should do it.

Just my opinion, I just started taking Pre JYM and I love it but this whole process seems so long lol I will prob just stick to my own little system lol
Man no matter what you are gonna get the shits putting that much stuff in you. If this works and I feel stronger and look stronger it's worth it but still thats a lot of fluid to put in your body in a matter of a few hours or so depending on workout.

Ok. 6 foot, 160ish pounds. (That was 120 pounds a few years ago). Not a fan of preworkouts. Just post BCAA, CREATINE, and protein.

Ah interesting been using the PRO jym before bed and between meals. Didnt realize i could use it on top of my pre and post workout as well before and after working out.
So is pro jym also like a meal replacer?
