    So, I think we can confirm at the point, that if something stands out, its gonna get nailed fucking hard into the wood. Helldivers 2 do seem to like shooting themselves in the foot. As it was, we have had a noticeable drop in player base, and something tells me this isnt gonna help :3

      It was just stuff that stood out, no one was complaining about the sickle or the Quaser charge time. Even the Erupter was fairly balanced with it's slow movement, time between shots, and horrible reload time. The magazine changes are horrible, should have just focused on fixing crashes and bug's with this patch.

      Yeah, I gotta agree, I think if they wanted to do anything, they should have buffed rather than nerfed. Perhaps then, we'd have been okay with them buffing patrols :3
      I get that they technically buffed multiple things, though the increase, was miniscule from what I read. It's like bumping the numbers in order to say they'd buffed things 😅

      This is actually correct. if you go back to previous comments from devs and the ceo. they wanted a incredibly hard game where doing anything at 7 and above would require quite the amount of teamwork and understanding of game knowledge to complete.
      Unfortunly for them they had some guns and equipment that were 'overtuned' and allowed players to join in, and being much more skillful then their own inhosue testing team, knock content out the park.
      This is why most weapons are lackluster, why the last warbond basically was a dud. Now with these patch changes they are trying to shift the focus back from playing solo/duo and having fun to full on teamplay requiring you to have four freinds to play.
      They never intended this to be a light hearted blow up shooter. They wanted hardcore, diving for democracy and sweating it out gameplay. I beleive they hate the popularity they got because instead of riding the lightning in a bottle they made, they are switching back to the focus of making it as difficult as possible.
      When the ceo says 'just buffing' is a bad gameplay choice (IE: Bringing weapons up to par that people are using) and a dev says he was 'mortified' that people were crushing helldive a week into the game launch, that is a very bad sign of where they have the focus for the game design.
      they are not purposefully sabatoging themselves i believe, they just for some reason, want vision over popularity. 'Our game will be the way we like it, not the way the playbase does' This is going to lose a very large chunk of the playerbase over the next few months as things that are more forgiving come out and people can no longer load in and just blow up some bugs without it feeling like a gladitor match. Content creators will find it harder to do what they need so people will stop spending the time.
      They will not care though, as they were perfectly fine having the same kind of playerbase they had for hd1.
      So while you and me may be baffled that they make changes that are hurtful, and will not propagate growth in the player base, they will be quite happy with the results and feel that the drop off will be due to new shiny xyz that came out, and not forced by they're hand.
      As a sidenote, the gaming industry is one o those that if you pay attention long enough you can see studio's do the same thing over and over again and track the fall of the game. Anytime a game starts punishing players too much the population migrates away. Most of the changes they have done are of the type that when you look at it on paper, it does not seem overally bad. However in actual gameplay you notice the lack of power, and agency you have now dimishes your want to play. For some reason this game studio does not want to enjoy they're success and wishes to make the same mistakes and tumble down back into obscurity.
      If anyone of importance from arrowhead reads this, please note that you are wrong. A game for everyone is a game for no one, is a horrible phrase. You got popular because of the fun things you could, the wacky ways to die, the feeling of power you had and of course your wonderful rewarding for time played feel. Nerfing things to make it diffcult, 'fixing' things to make it more diffcult, is going to kill your game. A game for everyone is a good game. You want people from all gaming genere's to come and play, to add to your success because it is not painful to play. What you are doing, in the long run, will hurt your success.
      You should be buffing everything that is not used, and then making tweaks to things you want to see used a little bit less. When you do not give equal power you have no diversity.

      @@snyper64 IMO some of the changes were good, "i love the speed loading senator, its my new favorite pistol with that change alone." but this update is a bad sign. This indicates the devs are refusing to interact with the playerbase, and instead focusing purely on analytics.
      Consider the one time they interacted us, we got the ability to properly headshot chargers with anti-tank weapons, and flamethrowers started melting them even harder. Both excellent changes, even if flamethrowers are still dangerous as hell to try and use, nothing quite matches the feeling of facing down a charger only to send a bit of liberty right through its skull right before it hits you or a teammate.
      If this keeps going, this cycle is just going to repeat over and over until no one is playing anymore.

      There was basically no reason for it to be absent. Hope they also either fix the sight or change it to a longer range one, maybe even a full scope. Also 25 extra rounds per mag wouldn’t hurt. Hitmarkers were required too and it now has them.

      @@mkv2718that’s easy to say when you’re aren’t swarmed. I don’t get how people don’t get that. The burst fire technique works to keep heat down but when you get swarmed you have no choice but to hold down the trigger.

    I truly don't understand why they keep nerfing so many weapons. This is a PvE game. if a weapon/weapons is being underutilized, make it better so that more people utilize it. Even the guns that got a buff, needed more. The heavy machine gun needs more. The marksman rifles need more.

      small incremental improvements, plus a few targeted (and IMO over-zealous) nerfs.
      It's been the way of game-dev for decades.
      The one time they did the reverse of this was with the JAR, they boosted it's damage per hit 50% then dropped it 1/12 later on.
      glad the railgun got it's heavy-pen back ,i need to see gunship kill-numbers to know if it's truly "fixed".
      slugger should have kept the stagger or crate-kill, it's still just a "worse JAR now"
      eruptor TBC, i suspect it''ll get 1-3 mags back, maybe even some of it's AoE back (not know the AoE-nerf numbers so i'm, withholding judgement there), crossbow i want 2-3 more in each mag (8*6 or 7*7 at the minimum), puni-plasma probably same as the crossbow TBC (that AND have a "pure energy" version with less fire rate but unlimited/overheat ammo).

    Quasar nerf is pretty devastating because of how well it dealt with heavies. And less ammo really hurts dealing with smalls. It's not unrealistic to have 6-8 mags on a soldier in real life.

      Quasar still has unlimited ammo, just hit your shots. The only difference is now its not objectively the best option iv every situation ever

      it still deals with heavies fine, you just have to wait a whole 5 seconds longer. I'm not a fan of the extra time but it didn't ruin the weapon or really effect it in any major way.

    I get weapon balances but just halfing nearly all the ammo count when most guns already have ammo issues or on the verge of ammo issues is kind of ridiculous. And did bots really need a buff.. really..

      Not to be that guy who says skill issue, but most guns. If you aim properly and hit your shots are good, and have good ammo reliability.
      They wanted to make ammo more scarce so you have to stick with your squad and call down ammo more often.
      The ones they nerfed the ammo on are understandable.

      “I get weapon balances” then proceeds to describe why you don’t get it. It’s completely understandable they removed the ammo count for these guns. Hit your shots, explore the map, don’t get into unnecessary encounters, stick with your squad. There’s plenty of ammo laying around the maps. Never had a problem of running out of ammo.

      Btw have you notice all the ammo crates around the map we also have Resupply and when you pick up a Resupply usually your energy/heat weapons are already maxed ammo if you play right and don't over heat your weapon you technically never need to reload with the sickle the damage is the same so nothing is affected in that aspect

    Quasar guard dog combo getting nerfed hard. It seems the shield backpack is the best option now considering the other guard dog runs out of ammo.
    It seems a lot of these nerfs seem follow the no fun allowed approach, it’s a bold strategy we’ll see how it pays off for them.

      @@Magnushamann I get were you are coming from, but it feels like they are making good weapons worse and bad weapons only slightly better( but still bad). Helldive difficulty is already hard enough but now i dont think I will be able to stomach the annoyance of never ending patrols, but now not enough ammo to deal with said patrols.... guess ill have to go back down to suicide qwq.

    Speed reloader on the Revolver is the biggest game changer I’ve seen in this game so far, right next to that is the fact that they finally fixed the Counter Sniper handling! Airburst launcher is amazing simply because it actually kills berserkers. That’s all I need lol

      i need to retry the DMR, hated them previously as they handled worse than the AMR/laser-pointer/MGs so i could use those support weapons as the better primary option and use the AoE/med-pen primaries as support-weapons and still never need touch the DMR. hell, most planets are so smoke/spore/fog/sandstorm laden now that anything with a zoom-sight is functionally useless 95% of the time (this annoys me GREATLY).
      Adjudicator buff was also nice surprise given i liked it already (yay for community tantrums on that one).
      Hell the AoE primaries are still better than the GL support weapon especially if that ricochet troll-change by the devs works as-worded (player-tracking bullets/bounces), as teh Gl already pinballs back into the users face or off into the ether more than it's 24-30? total shots damage the enemies (high DPS if it can hit, TERRIBLE ammo-economy/damage-per-reload)

      @@IRMentat the first DMR you unlock has always been a prime weapon vs boys for me it’s worth a try on its own it had great handling, and now the counter sniper is fantastic with one shotting small guys and one shotting devastators to the head, but it doesn’t feel like it’s too good because you do still have to watch the spray and pray because it’s only got 15 rounds per magazine so I think it’s in a great place. And I’m with you lol I really loved the adjudicator pre patch but that was mostly because I enjoy the sound, look, and idea of the gun more than it being a game changer, I still feel like it could reach a true true niche great role if it had its damage buffed, but rate of fire lowered down to around the 320 that the concussive liberator has, so that it would be like a BAR type rifle that can lay down some sustained fire with a punch, but not be a crazy all around great gun. But as it is, love that thing

      If you can’t kill armoured heavies without a stratgm or are constantly running out of ammo you are bad at the game. The jar dominator and auto cannon combo gives on bits gives you the ability to kill everything on the map.

      I think community managers should keep tight lipped on specifics going forward and simply say, new update Coming out soon and that’s it.
      I think the reception wouldn’t be as bad had they just not mentioned specifics

    The 4 player nerf for solo players is just bullshit, getting swarmed now like crazy even on lower difficulty. I guess I am taking a break as I hate playing with randoms. They seriously need to learn that small changes are better than this BS.⭐

      According to the devs it was scaling bug. Patrols were supposed to scale linearly with the number of players but they didn't. So instead of getting the 1/4 of the patrols you were supposed to get solo players were getting 1/6. Arguably making it easier than playing with a group. But now that's fixed. So congratulations. You're finally playing the same game as the rest of us.

      ​@@Guntank214Yeah, I don't think that is true. I ran a haz 3 mission solo earlier and honestly ran into more bugs than on haz 6 with a full squad . . . I don't know why they keep making the game so much harder, it used to feel like a challenge but doable, and now everything kills you instantly. Stratagems don't have a high enough damage, spread or speed to be consistently useful, the primaries keep getting nerfed into the ground, and the support weapons still can't keep up. I am tired of sweating this game on low levels, I just want to casually play a horde shooter with my friends, not overdose on Adderall

      @@Guntank214 so i'll go from 400-450 kills PER MISISON while covering 1/3 the map to 525-600 in an even more frustrating SLOG just because i don't want to MASSIVELY out-accelerate the friends i usually play with?
      yeah that 1/3 extra to solo spawns is rediculous, solos already have way less firepoewer than even a duo as you either skip the backpack entirely or miss out on a red/turret call-in.
      if anything solo should get as BONUS call-in (IMO an option to use the booster slot for an extra stratagem) as if you run a weapon (MANDATORY) and a backpack (optional but always-on utility) that's only 2 slots for actual cooldown based support when solo (strike/precision/500kg/rocket plus a "flex" slot)

    Overall rather "meh"-update. The Eruptor nerfs sting alot for me - was running it as a pseudo-sniper (well not "really" with short projetctle lifespan) with only non-support weapon stratagems; used support weapons of teammates or what I found during missions. The Eruptor really felt like a primary WEAPON this way and any support weapon I found really did give you the "support feel".
    Anyway, I get that 12 magazines was quite a lot of ammo in reserve, but a reduction down to 8 reserve magazines would have done it well enough; the additional aoe nerf just seems overkill, especially when you play it like a mid/long range support sniper like I did.
    Also as others mentioned - what's the point of buying premium bonds if at best there is only one weapon in them that is not shit, which in turn also gets nerfed later down the line - do they really think we buy them for helmet/cape/character background number 42069?
    In general I think I'll take it rather slower for the foreseeable future with this game and take more of a look at in what direction the dev-team takes it.

      If we could take out all the Bugs ......it wouldnt be a memorable game now isnt it? ... and if we all had that one all powerful tool of mass destruction it would be boring now wouldn't it? .. try another load out and discover new combinations that is what the game is all about..... same with life if we had everything on a wish life wouldn't be qorth living

      As a left-handed player who rebinds to the numpad, I must respectfully disagree. 'Keybinds bound to numpad will no longer reset upon restart'. It's irritated me to no end having to re-rebind my keys every time I restart/crash.
      That said, the change you mention is also very welcome. Resupply drops ARE NOT jungle gyms! 🌠

    Yeah, sadly I'm shelving HD2 until they can get the gun situation sorted out. I love the game, but it's frustrating that my favorite weapons get dismantled every 2 weeks.
    At level 70, I want at least some consistency.. I know they're trying to keep the game relevant, but all the people in my circles have quit due to these updates and following crashes.

      Have you tried aiming your weapon? Do you bother crouching before you shoot or do you run and gun? Do you treat every weapon like a shotgun? Did you bother to learn where enemy weak spots are? Do you expect your primary weapon to be able to carry you through every situation? Im not trolling these are legit questions. There is a large part of the community that failed to learn or use basic mechanics. The guns are fine for the most part. Many people simply use them in sub optimal ways. I understand wanting to shelf a game because the devs made the game less fun. However learning the ins and outs of a weapon and becoming proficient with it is a great deal of fun. I once spent over a month using only the counter sniper. This was back before it got any buffs. At first I thought the gun was terrible, but as I stuck with it I found myself getting more and more reliable with it. Now I can top the mission kills chart with it. The rest of the weapons are the same. Know your weapon and know your enemy. Do that and just about anything works.

      i count 10+ nerfs, one fix and a few misc buffs to previously ignorable weapons (plus the railgun "fix" that i need gunship ammo/kill numbers to care about).
      buffing MG health would only matter if it wasn't made utterly obsolete by the gatling gun, i'd have that rather been a 30% cooldown reduction.
      going from 10% announced to 50% nerfs on release is a MASSIVE failure in communication.
      Plus solo players just got hammered with 1/3 MORE patrols (i''m already slogging through and killing 400-450 in CHALLENGING 4/9 difficulty solo, i dread to think how much worse it's going to get). Plus the gunship/walker/hulk buffs (i doubt the hulk damage nerf has done much, maybe will less insta-kills but it will take only 2 dot-ticks to kill us).
      the map-gen and ricochet changes i need to see personally, each is either great or utterly soul-destroying (i already don't use the worthless GL support weapon because it bounces back into me in ways the primary-AoEs/grenades/AV-weapons don't

It was objectively better than everything else and made the game boring. Now you actually have to compare it to the other launchers and make a choice based on the pros and cons. It's no longer the default option. Even now I'd argue the launcher is still slightly op and got off easy.

      However level 8 and 9 it's rather lackluster before patch . Now it's just going to be left on the ship.
      I don't really have a bone in this fight. I always run other stuff. I just liked that low level players had a pocket rocket to rely on as they increased their unlocks.

    You know what the worst part of the new Quasar nerf is? The quasar will show itself as cooled but you still cant use it for 5 sec, thats the nerf, its a lag switch on the cooling. Laziness

      @@snyper64 I agree on the topic of the hot planets. I will purposely not use the Sickle on a hot planet because of it, and I kind of think that is the intention the devs had for them. They have essentially unlimited ammo, but hot planets will make them harder to use. A change of primary is recommended for hot planets. I usually take the Punisher for the stagger to keep bugs at bay, but I'm usually on the Automaton front.

      i'd have liked the nerf to be less severe but i think it's a deliberate dev-action to see HOW harsh they can be.
      The secondary changes were "small" and measured.
      This ammo-economy change feels more like a live-test where things will be brought back up in a week (or 3) after the devs see how much more often resupply is called in, how often people run the ammo dry, how often each weapon is now used, that kind of thing.
      The AoE weapon nerfs i'm really curious to test in-game as those guns already somewhat struggle against fat/tanky enemies already needing a reload of prox-hits per-kill (while the game throws 4-12 of them at you at a time).
      time will tell

      of course, those hulks can't BBQ you in 1-hit anymore so they have to run you down more waiting for that second dot-tick to trigger.
      Like the spitter "nerf" i expect this won't do much for most people death on-hit or death on 2nd dot-tick is still only the difference of 0 to 0.5 seconds to spam the dive button then you are on the ground and slow next to an enemy that likely brought friends to tackle your prone ass
      p.s. NEVER dive away from a spitter it's just feeding them your legs.

      They further explained it cause it was worded badly in the patch notes. Partrols should've been 1/4th of what they are on a full squad but instead they were 1/6th when playing solo. So much less than what it was supposed to actually be from the start.

    Got terrible fps after this patch , clearing the shader cache in the appdata fixed it for me , dont delete the settings if you dont wanna refiddle them ! =) however , I kinda like the changes

    what i absolutely dont like about this patch is all the mag reductions for alot of weapons that where fairly balanced and the fact that they made it god damn hard with those increased patrols if you have less than 4 in a squad sometimes i just want to go into a mission solo without needing to worry about others but now i cant even go from one objective to another without running into double or tripple stacked patrols and when i clear them out 2-3 more show up and sometimes its so much i cant even call in the extract after i finished the mission they really need to change this back to how it was before

      ​@@jiopa Yes, true, but I also have to cover the ENTIRE MAP on my own when I am running solo. Even if I drop the resup, I still have a lot of targets to engage. I could take the supply pack, but using the backpack slot is also important to most builds.
      In the end, the self sufficiency is being crushed from the game, and I find that horrendous when the game doesn't have enough to make each player distinct. Armour, guns, supports, stratagems, there is no, "I am playing a scout type, you play heavy, you play striker, you play support," capability to the game. Everything does the same job, so balancing your kit basically just means, "can I get my gear so I can swap between weapons through the horde so I can reload before the next . . .

      One was on a weapon most people say is bad so no one really knows how much this really matters (Crossbow), another on a weapon that has a lot of damage potential and utility so is entirely justified (Eruptor) and the other two weapons that got decreased mag sizes were weapons that can in theory have infinite ammo anyway (Scythe & Sickle)
      The only one I could say is bad is the Plasma shotgun but I dont use it enough to say. I did try it in a mission today and it felt fine

      @@Harrizonio Plasma shotgun can restore full ammo with a supply box now. I consider it is a rework on ammo eco. For Eruptor I have never encounter a situation which cause backup magazine drop less than 6, thus picking up an ammo box can still refill 3 magazines so I don`t think it`s a great nerf unless the player never knows to search ammo boxes in interests or objective points.

      I've been using the Eruptor and boy, do I feel the mag nerf. I only went for resupplies when it had about two mags left (which took a while) but now I want one before the resupply cooldown is up. Been playing solo thus far so I can only imagine the issue when playing in a group.

      @@zacfor4454 They should be buffing shitty weapons, not nerfing good ones. There was no need to nerf the eruptor. I expected a 2 or 3 second charge on the quasar, but 5 is excessive. There are many ways to balance a game without having to nerf everything. If they want balance, they need to give us weapons that don't suck. Almost all marksman rifles are pointless to use as something else does the job better. And if they want to try to force the game toward more cooperation amongst teams (which I get) they need better incentives. Not all of us have friends that can olay all the time for coordinated groups. I do matchmaking but 90% of the time everyone does whatever they want and doesn't communicate. I get trying to push toward a diverse party of people with some going for heavy killers, others for clearing lights, specialists, etc...but frankly i rarely play above 7 anymore because I'm tired of going into 9s and everyone just doing whatever with no coordination, which means I need weapons I can rely on to get the job done as if no one else is there. So having weapons that are good is fine, the quasar was good, jt wasn't all that OP. The eruptor shouldn't have been touched. The ammo reduction on weapons was also unnecessary, since half the time you get one dickhead who loots 3 of the damn supply packs himself. Also, tou want to talk about balsnce when a good 80% of the community will choose bugs over bots when given the opportunity, but then they go and buff bots while nerfing the guns used against them. They are "balancing" toward the ideal, not the average experience.

Some people get bad social anxiety, some prefer to play with people they know in real life and play solo when they aren’t available. There are plenty of reasons one might want to play solo.
      One thing I’ll say though, Helldivers 2 *STILL* offers a better solo-play experience than Destiny/D2 did, and I LOVED Destiny.

      It's a tad dumb in that regard.
      I'm forever in need of grenades and stims but half my ammo generally goes unused because even if i'm going all-out it's those other 2 resources that determine if i will live or die not the spare ammo in my primary, not because i don't want to use it but because iof i'm, spending that much ammo at-range in the fog/dust/spores/storms then i will have nothing left when the devastators/spitters/hunters/walkers/trash decide to get up close and personal to headshot and nibble me to death while interrupting said-stims
      I guess the devs wanted to make ti so that not only are we forever out of grenades/stims but also scrambling for every crumb of ammo on-map lest we be forced to resort to the shovel/bayonet/crowbar that doesn't exist in the sequel.
      Game started as a good time, the more that changes the more that EVERY MAP becomes an endless slog through hell.
      Even space-veitnam pre-railgun "minor patch" was chill compared to the current state of play.

      I know it isnt the best but if you go into first person the plas no longer explodes on your shield backpack. Hope it helps even if a bit inconvenient

    Victory pose change for non-extracted players does not work, still get your pose if you don't extract. Superior Packing Meth still does not work properly, specifically MGs.

    This community, not Clouds but HD in general, we literally told them to focus on fixes and that's clearly what they did in this patch. Don't be disappointed when there isn't a lot of content.. it gives mixed signals to the Devs.
    The energy cooldown weapons getting their mags reduced makes sense. Otherwise it felt like you had infinite ammo

    Plasma Shotgun with Shield back pack is broken too, if you fire it with the shield active it detonates inside the shield instantly.

    the mushroom spores use to take 3 shots from the grenade launcher. now i unloaded all 30 and did not take it out. the Eruptor still lunches me under the map and kills me. sill getting disconnected a lot. my friends are not happy. we are just going back to civilian life. we will return when they do bug fixes instead of nerfs.

    with the higher fire rate on blitzer playing it with fire grenades has been fun. bug hole breach set on fire and stun lock most of the things that come out.

    All I have to say, my breaker incendiary for bugs and my scorcher for bots have decent competition now. I am rocking the Blitzer against the bugs especially the break incendiary has its max mag capacity reduced as well and either the Adjudicator or the Diligence Counter Sniper for the bots.
    As for the Quasar, yeah depending on my teams loadout, I can definitely swap to the EAT as a better alternative now.

      Not to mention calling down EATs is in itself a weapon. I'm just glad they're making sure teams are 3/4 autocannons all the time, and every time something looks like a promising rival, they nerf it to hell.

    They should buff the other stratagems + guns instead of nerfing the good ones. The only reason people were using those all the time is because the other options are either very inconsistent or too weak in comparison

    Why is the Quasar nerf "unnecessary?" Not only did they not touch it's damage and utility despite being the most commonly taken support weapon by vast margins, but if less people use it simply cause one of it's already existing weaknesses was increased then that would be a good thing in terms of overall support weapon balance.
    I really feel like so many people are overreacting to all this.....

      Oh, for sure people are blowing it out of proportion.
      I see this as a trade off. You can either go the route of AC, RR, or EAT but you suffer from stationary reloads. Or keep playing the QC and have a bit longer wait time but still move, shoot and use stratagems while waiting.
      People will just bitch about anything these days and as soon and the word "nerf" is seen everyone freaks out like it's the apocalypse 🙄

    Lv-110 helldiver, and this update is bullshit. if they are just going to keep nerfing the best weapons in a warbond, why buy them? why make solo or duo diving harder? why nerf so many weapons AND buff so many enemies all at once and then blame the players for getting use to the level of difficulty that the game has been at for 3 months? The devs are constantly attacking the players with "get gud" because we arent playing the way they want us to play. its so frustrating having so many weapons get nerfed (especially weapons that I use as my loadout) all get nerfed and then get chastised by the devs "just use stratagems", MOTHERFUCKER I WOULD LIKE TO BUT WHEN I GET LIMITED TO 3 STRATAGEMS OR HAVE 50% INCREASED CD, I NEED TO BE ABLE TO USE THE SHIT I DO HAVE WHILE I WAIT FOR SHIT TO COME OFF COOLDOWN.
    Its just so goddamn tedious and annoying getting punished for playing the game in a way I want to, especially when my friends cant always play or play together, and now I have to get further punished because I can play objectives as a solo commando only to get kicked playing with random's because I can out play them and out objective them all while they die left and right because they want to pick a fight with every patrol on the map.⭐

      @@zacfor4454 I play on T9 regularly just fine, and drop to T-7 to relax. This isnt a "skill issue", this is devs arbitrarily nerfing the players because we are playing the game in a way they didnt like.
      Just like they fucking nerfed the railgun because players were using the railgun to 2-shot charger legs (which they didnt like and explicitly stated that in discord). when the reason why railgun was so dominant was because of the PS5 bug and because no other weapon could kill chargers or titans. They eventually buffed rockets to kill chargers and titans, and then continued to nerf railguns because PS5 players were still 2-shotting titans. and this patch they FINALLY fixed that bug, and only now slightly buffed the railgun after nerfing it for the wrong reasons.

    weird thing about the patch notes is the clarity.
    In the HD2 discord patch notes its clear that laser dog was nerfed, but the bullet dog was buffed.
    I always liked the bullet dog, and with the supply buff + damage buff it got its in a really good state now.

    Just feels bad man. Quasar cannon was my favorite thing in the whole game since it came out. Think I’m gonna take a lil break since 8 out of 10 of my friends don’t play anymore anyways. Def don’t wanna role solo anymore. they gotta fix the broken stuff before you nerf what people find fun. Those were the things having us look past big issues like misaligned sights on sniper rifles, no fire or gas dmg unless you the host and a plethora of other un-fun bugs, crashes and players to deal with
