I remember watching the commentaries for this series, Peter Serafinowicz and Robert Popper gushing about what an absolutely delightful person she is to know and work with. I've been following her career since and I had blimmin tears in my eyes when she got that Oscar, which is very unlike me. What a talent, but nice to know she's nice as well.
@@NidgeOSullivan Oh, dear. Sorry, Nidge, it was actually the one about the *farm* that she referred to! I'm afraid, Midge, that it sounds like you're in need of a memory helmet yourself! Better luck next time, Ian!
Olivia has been showing up everywhere in my CZcams feed lately, in this, in Broadchurch snippets, and of course, with David and Robert on Peep Show and That Mitchell and Webb Look. When I see her descending the stairs in princess hat while her family sings that weird Happy Birthday song, I can't help but think, "This woman just won an Academy Award." It's no surprise, she's brilliant in The Favorite and generally. But it is incongruous when she's talking about 'touching cloth'.
In America, in the early 1970s, there was an educational children's show called "The Electric Company". Its cast included an Oscar winner (Rita Moreno, for "West Side Story") and a future Oscar winner (Morgan Freeman, for "Million Dollar Baby").
I was backing this product to win, however (spoiler alert), that silly sex change machine snagged the magnificent trophy, presented by Sir Prince Charles. Surely having perfect memory, or even being able to predict every winner in a race, would have more broad consumer appeal? Oh and while I'm here, anyone know where I hand in my copybook?
Academy Award winner Olivia Colman

"Aims to make forgetfulness a distant memory..." brilliant!
"Make forgetfulness a distant memory"
Sorry, what was that?
Fun fact, it's considered bad luck for actors to say the name "O'Reilly" so it's colloquially known as "The Irish Play."
Oh Really? :D
You're hurting my broab.
Haha...clever.
Is that the one about the field she referred to at the start?

'Forgetfulness a distance memory.'
Dude, you're messing with my upper and lower nobes.
Oscar winner Olivia Colman everybody...
"Pam's memory glands" Classic
Reminds me of that song by The Smiths, "Let me get my hands, on your memory glands"
Now let me just turn you on...
Harlem Blues is my favorite Shakespeare work
David... And the one about the farm.
My favorite play is razzamatazz and Harlem blues
Harlem Blues is my favorite.
We studied Harlem Blues for GCSE english

We did Razzmatazz for GCSE English lit.
"Now let me just turn you on. It's a little bit fiddly... it's round here somewhere." Yep, we've all had those issues mate.
Ian the third part one is the greatest thing ever written
They released another product in the same line called the mammary helmet. It was amazing.
Finish. The. Story.
We loved this show!
I'd forgotten Olivia Colman is in this!
Get the helmet.
I’ve never heard of this show. Now I must find all of it!
Used to be on adult swim back in like 09’-10’
Peter Serafinowics, Two series. He's a clever chap. Love his "Did I aks you?" Eastate Agent character hahaha.
Ian 1st.... One of Shakespeare's best.
I'm a fan of Tit for Tat personally. Especially the rendition with David Beckham as the Prince Regent
I like Razzamatazz myself. The chorus line was groundbreaking for the bard.

I swear this was the prototype for Google Glasses! LOL I loved this show.
Memory glands.
Notice the brain in the diagram extends into the nose.
that's why it hurts so bad to get hit in the nose
Man who invented helmet has glasses on his eyes and glasses on his head 😂Must have forgot they were there.
Wait, what were we talking about again? It seems the beginning of this video is a distant memory and I've lost track. I need a memory helmet.
Simon Teigh and his two pairs of glasses...for some reason.
He's supposed to have a bad memory and has probably forgotten where they are
Could do with one myself, these memory helmets
She should have worn it while playing 'Numberwang', might have helped

To your teacher or head of class.

Looks rather similar to the daft hat she is wearing in the Crown, when investing Charles as Prince of Wales.
Sorry, His Royal Highness, Sir Prince Charles.
Branus.

Look Around You predicting Neuralink ...
Hehe...memory glands.

What was the episode where she mentioned the diarrhea machine?
My memory glands don't work as well as they used to.
Pam got turned on
Hmmm...Olivia.
Harlem Blues
Interesting! Has this helmet already been released?
Isn't there some controversy about Razzmatazz? I thought it was allegedly attributed to Heirogynous Zonnes and stolen by Shakespeare
1:50 - 2:19

Also, I really don’t think she deserved that Oscar.
