Starfleet Academy has a serious hatred for its cross town rival Romulan High School(The Warbirds).
Klingon High School(The Warriors) is in the bad part of town and used to be a bitter rival. But after a fire damaged most of the school Starfleet Academy loaned supplies and helped out to rebuild. The two schools are much more friendlier now.
Coach Worf used to go to Klingon High but after he got orphaned, he got adopted and had to go to Academy High.
It was rumored but never proven that some Romulan High students set the fire Word was they were mad that Klingon High beat them in the city championship football game that year.
You know, there's a town named Romulus in Michigan.

The first season episode where the students shrank Principle Picard's vest, and he had to keep pulling it down as he talked, but never seemed to notice it was too small! Ha!
Funny prank, and the gag lasted the whole first season! Without explanation, he eventually got a better fitting vest for the start of season 2.
The other Picard maneuver... Still not as horrible to wear as the costumes for TMP from what I've heard.

My favorite episode has to be the two parter ‘best of both worlds’ ya know where due to a technicality Principle Picard had to lead the Borg Science institute against his own school in the academic decathlon at wolf 359th street.
Riker really stepped up as Principal and you could tell how heartbreaking it was for Picard to go against his own students, still get big feels whenever I catch that rerun
O'Brian should be the custodian and the traveler should be the bus driver, because he's traveling around picking up the students 😊

That Substitute teacher one was damn funny. Second funniest was the fact that Riker had a framed photo of himself in his (presumably) office. And personally, I would’ve made Whoopi the Lunchlady.

Personally Whoopi is the librarian is smart cuz she's been around a long time but lunch lady to be honest. That's a little insulting. There's a lot of other people that would have made a good lunch lady but not whoopie. With special guests, "Hugh" as the new guy and "Mr. Tomalak" as Starfleet Academy's crosstown rival Principal.
Hugh as the exchange student in Season Two, when they need a "Chekhov" to appeal to teens (but with Spock's sex appeal).
Principal Tomalak also coaches the forensics team. The kids are exasperated by his random style of presentation and mostly unknown subject matter
After school they all head over to Quark's 23rd Century Diner for a bit of seeing how food was in the past.

I had a convo with Captain Picard on DoppleAI, and I was convinced that this is one of the few characters who really shows courage, compassion and wisdom.
With recuring characters Admiral Nechayev as the county schoolboard superintendent and Mister Mot as the school cafeteria chef.
Mr Mott as chef would leave too many hairs in the food. Let him do what he loves 🪮✂️

The Borg is a private technical engineering school. It's hated by all schools in town because it "kidnaps" promising students from other schools by offering their families sweet deals at the private school.

This was the 80s sitcom that I didn't realise I needed.
That is EXACTLY what TNG was. It was a very 80s/90s show with characters that were in many Lawyers in Love, school shows like Fame, 30 Something, as well as some sitcoms

I think this would work slightly better with Voyager, as Tom Paris is an aficionado of 20th pop culture, remember Tom had a cartoon collection and a TV, but yeah you actually do an episode where Q trapped everyone in a crappy sitcom. It would be very silly, but it would probably work.

At a Private Academy, Dr. Picard would be Head Master of School (handing out orders, but standing in the background), and Mr. Riker would be Dean of Students (enforcing discipline to the students).
