Agree with you. My black cat is so super sweet, lovey dovey, and beautiful. She appreciates her life with me. She has also become my best friend. We communicate with each other. My dad's black cat ran over to us when we went to pick him up from the lady that was giving him up for adoption. He meowed from the top of his lungs and just rubbed against our legs. Even know he's very talkative and goofy.

My black cat is the complete opposite- he’s a senior spicy kitty! A full blown ghost pepper! And I couldn’t be happier with him ❤
I have one and he is all of the above and more. He steals my mom's yarns, pencils, socks, money (bills) if he finds any wherever you may leave it, toys if he likes em, tortillas, bags as in purses or plastic he doesn't care, food, etc. His stash is under my bed. 😂 We all love our little looting kitty so so much. He is a handful but a family member that we can't live without. Don't worry he is an indoor only, he will only steal from us lol. 😂

She's a former feral cat who showed up in my backyard 2 years ago and now lives inside with me.
She's a great cat. Sweet, loving and affectionate, but not too clingy. A very good companion.

My black lucky loves to be held it makes me smile to see his lil bobtail running towards me I've always wanted a black cat to prove to the world that they aren't bad luck he chose me at the shelter they toke him out i picked him up and he hung over my shoulder and didn't want to leave me so we brought him and his brother home one dsy i saw his tail looking funny i told my parents about it they said we'll have the vet look at i was playing with him one day and his tail just fell off but now he is very happy and healthy

@Aneiox i made my black cat his own little space/room - put a scratcher, bed and litterbox ad toys. Had him in that room for a week or two, then slowly introduced him to te rest of the house. Then slowly trial him outside. Definitely have your cats favourite treats every step of the way.. it helps.
If he escapes... have his food bowl outside. They are fmiliar or items that is heavy with their scent. Helps to find their way home.

Stanley, my black cat, had a tuft of white hair on the inside of his hind leg. He wouldn’t let anyone touch that part of him. He allowed anyone to let him here and there, except that single spot of white hair. Weirdly wonderful. I miss him.

I own one! She’s cute but I hate how people say “oh u have a black cat? That’s bad luck” they don’t always have bad luck sometimes it means good luck. Our black cat name is beanie we call her bean for short and sadly her mom ran away. But we chose beanie to stay with us and her mother ran away when bean was a baby bean is super sweet and she’s super playful and when I’d go to bed she would come to my bed. She is so sweet and she is super nice to anybody she don’t even bite and she’s a lovely cat. I’m glad we adopted her! She sometimes scratch’s us but she doesn’t mean she accidentally scratch’s us she doesn’t mean it

The only things I love about black cats are: they look flat; you can't determine their shape in a shade, especially when all black kittens are in a basket; they look like a rug monster full of boba eyes; they're quite quiet; unlike Tuxedo cats, they're so dramatically noisy based on my experience.

I think you may have a Bombay breed cat. Look it up and compare. Are the bottom of the cat’s paws black/grey too? Is the hair super silky, more silky than any other cat’s? If yes, I’d say it’s a Bombay.
