    0:18, yes. When scam artists never clean but charge you $$$$ for just vacuuming the branches what any homeowner can do. That really hurts!

    You mentioned the registers and blower motor - what about the trunk lines?

    • @cleanairheatingcooling4105
      @cleanairheatingcooling4105  Před 2 lety

      The trunk lines get cleaned during the duct cleaning process with the bigger brushes and the machine that sucks out all of the loose debris. The blower wheel gets pulled out and gets manually washed since it's not going to be affected by the duct cleaning process. I hope the sensors your question but if not feel free to should I comment and clarify your question. Thank you so much for watching!

    If you have a central Vac system in your home what does it do?

    • @cleanairheatingcooling4105
      @cleanairheatingcooling4105  Před 2 lety

      Essential vac is to obviously vacuum your house It shouldn't be integrated with your HVAC system or hitting or cooling system in any way. Maybe you can ask your question in another way to make sure I understood you correctly.

    Great video! How often do the ducts need to get cleaned?

    • @cleanairheatingcooling4105
      @cleanairheatingcooling4105  Před rokem +4

      Every 5-10 years is most common. Each house is different based on occupancy, activity, pets, how leaky the house is and how leaky the ducts are, if you live in a dusty environment such as busy street, construction or farmland.
      In commercial locations it should be done every 2-3 years, again depending on foot traffic, type of occupancy and and other factors which cause the ducts to collect dust and other unhealthy particles.

    I just had a vendor clean my ducts. But he just used the intrinsic home ventilation/filter to capture the dirt that he agitated with a similar whipping compressor line. The filter ended up very dirty, so we had to replace with a new one after he left. Is this an acceptable practice with this type of service?

      I own my own business and no it is not. I would take a phone and take pictures of your lines to make sure they really got cleaned

    • @YeOldeGeezer
      @YeOldeGeezer Před 2 lety +2

      I would ask for it to be done properly! If it's still not done properly tell them that you will leave a bad review of their company.

      @cleanairheatingcooling4105  Před 2 lety +5

      Great question Moxie! I can't condone any retaliation but what I can tell you is from your comment it doesn't sound like this was a professional service. If you paid less than four or $500 for the service you must likely got the sub standard service and that's expected. Not everyone out there is certified or qualified or properly trained to do this correctly. So I would find someone who charges at least in the $500 range has a good reputation has great reviews possibly some recommendations from clients is worked for and some sort of certification or accreditation from industry associations. Feel free to reach out at the phone number in the video if you have more questions maybe by text or even call and we can help you further.

    Honestly I stopped it as soon as he said he used fiberglass insulation to block dust. He apparently has no clue on the nature of fiberglass, now he probably has that floating all through his system.
