Congratulations to All. Things Goa University should note for future - The convocation was not organized well. 1. Students were called at 8.00 am, and snacks wete served at 12.45 pm that means on an average 5 hours without food or water, and no one was permitted to leave the seats. 2. Shabby Chairs. In recent years nobody for such events use these type of chairs, undressed and they were dirty too. 3. Discriminatory awards- Rankers were not awardee on stage. No ranker was told that they will not be awarded on stage. Parents were invited to sit for no good. In the past all rankers were awarded on the stage. If not they should be communicated in the invitation sent through emails. People got new white dresses, unnecessary expenditure. 4. Entry and exits were not managed properly. 5. Toilets had no water in the morning. 6. Waste of paper. 4 separate booklets were printed and distributed. 3 we're speeches and one booklet had only Ph. D holders, Gold medalist and names of those receiving scholarship. No mention of Rankers. Huge insult to rankers who were invited to only warm the seats. This is not the way convocation should take place. Huge disappointment
