Imagine being some random at one of these places, doing your average everyday tasks, and you just hear the sound of you bases defenses power up and fire. Terrifying stuff

I mean realistically erekir technology shouldnt function in surpulo due to different gravity, heat, atmospheric conditions, different materials, and probably some other issues.
But serpulo has water, coal and sand is everywhere. malis wins

Erekir technology has way more pressure and heat, it should be far more durable in surplus less extreme planet
Doesn't that mean that all the erekir units will be far better in serpulo? The tanks will move faster (less gravity) and still have a lot of health, same for mechs and ships
lesson learned: in case of an invasion, throw an enmassed quad spam at the invading force and supply them with pyrotite to make them ideal kamikaze units 😏

Imagine if interplanetary invasion was actually a thing and the enemy actually built bases on the sector when attaking you instead of just sending forces
or that instead of sending a base to attack sectors you could invade them just like the crux invade the sharded
Also i just relized that than one OP turret (idk if they nerfed it) has a counter a.k.a spam units very sparesly and attak with the main forces from a different angle ( I think it was called malis but I havent played erekir and in general mindustry for a while...
Interplanetary invasion is what the player is capable of because of the Interplanetary Accelerator. I could easily see the crux trying to do the same as the sharded and trying to land on Erekir.
Ik antros is probably never going to be released but when it does I hope that all three teams fight there. But they all have the same landing time. So it's all fair and all
You are talking about scathe with the strat. Big missle launcher. Also every nova tree (except corvus) unit can fly for 1 second and "dodge" it.
Finnaly someone, who makes cool mindustry movies, best mindustry movie i have ever seen.
This gave me PTSD from Zorin but Erekir cause that crap was hard as hell because it used both erekir and surpulo tech
Like strategically the start is like smart as frack, the silicone was needed and it struck down the major exports

If this were to happen in real mindustry serpulo would completely slap erekir, because both of their technology is suited to very different areas, and erekir stuff would probably just freeze over.
Plus, serpulos units are generally better, same as turrets. The only advantage erekir has in the turret department is the scathe, but range doesent mean a thing against shields, so a few Octs would completely annihilate it.
Oh yeah and also core unloading. Pretty big advantage.
I mean serpulo wouldn’t be able to attack erekir without taking some malis technology, but then it’s just a stalemate because they couldn’t reliably invade the other.
Oh no, not at all you got it backwards
Erekir has the advantage in terms of units, a stell is stronger than a dagger, locus is stronger than a mace, and so on
Only serpulo t5s are stronger than Erekir t5s, and erekir turrets are usually a lot stronger
Take a sublimate that can pretty easily murk an antumbra as shown in the video, load that badboy with cyanogen and you will be easily able to defend, plus laser weapons, like a lustre and sublimate, or Locus projectiles are able to PIERCE shields
Serpulo's advantage over erekir is the helper drones that can help you beef your defences up faster and rebuild stuff almost instantly, erekir has none so their build speed is a lot slower than a typical serpulo drone with like 15 support units helping them build up and heal the buildings
So really it's a very even match. Plus erekir in early game usually doesn't have any resources to build turrets yet, or can place only 2 breaches if they're given like 500 silicon to start with
while serpulo can place a basic defence in the early game and bumrush erekir while they're busy building their first units

Realistically.
No heat sources. No item sources. No liquid sources. And definetly no power sources. All you need is surge for a foreshadow, and even meltdowns don’t need anything but water and power. Compare that to most erekir lategame units requiring heat, power and in most cases expensive ammunition, of which serpulo turrets need only one of which in most cases, plus, optional enhancements. That just about doubles serpulo’s capabilities.
Even so, it’s not a full win for erekir on units either. The factories needed are significantly more complicated than those on serpulo, especially the refabricators you would need to get anywhere near a spectre or meltdown.
@@lavaleopard2961 In the video shown they used scathes, very powerul rocket launcher but technically it is weaker than a titan because the projectile can be shot down, not dealing the full damage it could despite having bigger raw numbers. On erekir you don't need fancy late game turrets like scathes or maligns to successfully defend. As I said, a lustre and sublimate combo is pretty much enough. Repair turrets are also a thing on erekir, taking care of rebuilding the defences if they're breached. And you don't need t5s on erekir against serpulo, since theirs are stronger. The only t5 I can see being produced is the collaris, but even then, 15 anthicuses has more than enough firepower and the range to whittle away defences with the splash damage and constantly waste ammo, since their artillery shells are targetable by turrets
I'm just saying that serpulo won't mop the floor with erekir, it's a lot more even than people give it credit for. Erekir is a different planet with different rules, so using serpulo logic is not a very good idea. I mean, on erekir it's completely normal to use your units as a defense line. Locus spam is the erekir meta since they're so effective and cheap, and sublimate with just ozone is able to easily defend against t5 tanks that get thrown at you in later stages of the campaign, 3 or 4 is just about enough to bring down a dedicated damage sponge unit, and they don't even use that much of the ozone they need, it's surprising how little they need to work
now we need to take the Corvus into account. Erekir has no wall that can block laser, and Corvus outrange everything but scathe, Corvus is simply an auto win button.
@@sharkenjoyer ozone sublimate is a real bad idea against serpulo tech. a single flare with sporepods can set the ozone supply on fire and detonate everything. Fire is extremely dangerous on erekir with many flamable gases. and erekir has no wave turret. And just like how locus spam is a meta on erekir, units spam is also serpulo meta, except that you send several blast/pyra loaded flare/crawler at your enemy every half a second. Since with overdrive dome T3 need only 12 seconds to produce, and T2 only 4 seconds, Erekir side will have to deal with hell of units spam.

Does Mindustry have an end or something?I've seen a walkthrough playlist with 400 VIDEOS!So I'm assuming it's either proceduraly generated,or that the devs made a gigantic map.
Also,it was on update 4.something last time I checked which added laser miners!
There are some sectors that you *must* do to complete the game. After that, or even before, you could easily go for a world conquest of like 260 autogenerated sectors.
Today's mindustry has named sectors (dev/player made) and numbered sectors (algirithmically generated. the algorith can be used in the editor to make sectors as well)
