  • Chris Krebs, the former director of CISA and a CBS News cybersecurity expert and analyst, tells "Face the Nation" that while there likely will not be a "one single catastrophic AI-enabled event" threatening the 2024 election, he foresees a "steady drumbeat where we, where the voters, the public are just going to lose confidence and trust in the overarching information ecosystem."
"Face the Nation" is America's premier Sunday morning public affairs program. The broadcast is one of the longest-running news programs in the history of television, having debuted Nov. 7, 1954, on CBS. Every Sunday, "Face the Nation" moderator and CBS News senior foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan welcomes leaders, newsmakers, and experts to a lively round table discussion of current events and the latest news.

Toddlers always want to win at any cost, even by cheating as last resource. Better put some grown ups in charge.

Chris Krebs was such an important voice in the early days after the election and nice to see him again. But what do you do when people continue to lie and refuse to accept reality?

How can we sustain a democracy when our elected officials concoct a voting system that's antiquated and obstanent to the voter?
If there's one thing that the blue and red agree on, as does any undemocratic institution, is the persistant ignoring and rejecting of any logical and accurate voting system.

These are the exact same conversations that I've been hearing since I turned 18 and wanted to go vote.

There is no way that having months of voting is more secure: it’s the difference between having to guard a house for a night and having to guard it for a year - of course you want a shorter time 😅

If the RNC and DNC would allow for people to be informed voters, we wouldn't need to worry about foreign adversaries interfering with voters minds!
