haha memories.. Having spent the whole night sleeping on the gently rocking cruise and wake up to this tune was like another dose of faun's lullaby - go back to sleep.
I was really deeply asleep and then I heard his music and thought i was dreaming! When I got up I didn't know what it was and because I was really tired and heard random music playing I thought it was the end of the world!! I then realised it was the wake up call! I like this music!!
+epiccomputing123 Haha I can relate actually. When they first changed the wake up tune to this I actually thought it was a fire alarm. Yes, a fire alarm. But then I remembered the safety announcements and it sounds nothing like it. I loved the tune so the next time I got the chance I thought I'd record it and share it. :D
I'm remember when i'm little, I heard this music the morning in the ferry to go to England or Ireland. I try to find this music. And now, after many years I heard this music sometimes. This music is very good, I like it
That happened to me as well, it made me want to record it the next time I went over. I will be going to Roscoff soon on the overnight ferry so will have the pleasure of hearing it again :)
I guess they play it on most ferries in the fleet. I don't know, it could have been worse, like the drumming from Phil Collins "In The Air Tonight" or something like that. Then again, that drumming sequence is just awesome :D
Does anyone know what this is called? It beats the crap out of my horrifying car alarm style alarm clock, nice and gentle.. Like how Akeem is woken up by violins in Coming to America!
Kinda makes me shudder, after so many early mornings waking up to that in a cvabin
Fucking awful
reminds me of being in a packed 4 person cabin, waking up to it being really cold and looking out of the window and it being really grey outside
Exactly the same experience on many an occasion... only without the window and the whole room was in total darkness!

Makes me sooooooo happy! ❤❤❤❤

+Mcdo Tomato (Tom Mcdonald) I have edited it so it goes on for like 2 minuets straight! Now I have it on my phone!
HELP SAME
That’s exactly how I felt when I first heard it and I started crying 😂
I love Brittanyferries.

This song is terrifying
What???
The song is called Troellenn, and it's by a Breton group called Dremwell. I think the CD is for sale on the Brittany ferries. Kenavo ar c'hentañ
haha, thanks so much for recording this! Only trouble is it sends me back to sleep!! #portsmouthcaen
Takes me back too. When I was married and kids v young.Beautiful music!
As of November 2016, they still have it. Last time I travelled with Brittany Ferries and they still played this song. :)
Love this music. Thanks for sharing it. I can see the cabin clearly in my mind now.
Souvenir de vacances, en arrivant en vue des côtes du Finistère après la traversée depuis Plymouth ❤
This is just my favourite piece of music!! Takes me right back...
It is great. Travelled with Brittany Ferries in November 2016, they still had the music then so I'm gonna assume they still currently have it :)
In 2022 i was travelling to Ireland 🇮🇪 to France 🇫🇷 and back and i heard it
Flashbacks!!
I love this music.
I love the music because only one week ago I went to st malo France I was very scared of it but then I realised it was the wake up alarm
This can be found on the Armorique, Barfleur, Bretagne, Cap finistere,Mont st michel and Normandie
Do you know what time it starts by any chance?
Best . Song. Ever
R u fucking joking
*QUICK WAKE UP*
they play it on the normandy too. Very very anoying way to be woken up.

better than that constantly ringing hand-bell they used to walk around the corridors with on the older ferries!
I hate waking up at 4am
Probably one of the downsides of the mini-cruises. Although for a day trip it means you get a lot more time than you think.
God I fucking hate that tune with a passion after so many too-short nights in a shoebox cabin
I haven't been on Brittany ferries since 2015! Do they still have this music?
yes they do! i went on in may
I love how this is your most viewed video
+Harry Ferries I know right. Not what I expected it to be when I uploaded it if I'm honest. :)

I hate this music. Had to listen to it!! Sounds like someone using a hammer on the harp
That was fucking horrible
