Doom Scrolls No. 15: Equal Temperament vs. Wendy Carlos Harmonic Scale | by Nick Fagnilli

The 15th in my series of piano bagatelles "Doom Scrolls," heard once in Equal temperament and once in the Wendy Carlos Harmonic Scale.
This short piece uses wide intervallic and rhythmic patterns to coax out upper overtones of the E harmonic series. It is fitting, therefore, to retune the notes using Keyscape so that the actually reflect the pitches of the E harmonic series, and maybe spend a little more time wiggling and ringing and growling for our ears!! I just love the sensory affect that this tuning has when I play and listen!
