    The Acedeck Nixie, I love it when you take her out for us. I really liked the workbench portion. I kept waiting for a little black dog to pop up and say lets go ride! Such a Baller...

      Haha, maybe a small black chinchilla which is right near my work bench. I thought the workbench part was some solid asmr and I want to add more working on boards into vids soon. Thank you for watching and the comment 😎

    W Concave, check out the Tranzite Wings 2, Version 1 was just two wing pieces. Version 2 has two wings and a third center piece. The third center piece creates a W concave where there once was none.

    Wow good to know other brand wheels fit on Acedeck gear drive. I guess thats the big complaint of gear drives are that u cant change up the ratio and not too many compatible wheels.
    Im surprised that none of the esk8 companies has ventured into chain drives. Chain is much more stronger than belts and u can still change up the gear ratios.

      @TTLBALLER  Před 5 měsíci

      Seems like it would be a solid way to go. Less maintenance also as chains can go a long ways! Though it might add weight.

      @TTLBALLER remember the ares use 10mm and the lorentz major wheels use 12 mm bearings but I hope you find a way

      Cool to see these wheels are compatible with other brands. Guessing most gear drives are similar with it just being the trucks being different

    You did it!!!! Thank you so much! Couple questions: Do these tires require tubes? How did you get to work with acedeck gear drive - did it require the complete wheel plus adaptor from lorentz, or just the complete wheel without adaptor? Do you know if the tire would fit on acedeck rims to avoid having to buy lorentz rim (and possibly adaptor too)? Thanks!

    • @TTLBALLER
      @TTLBALLER  Před 5 měsíci +1

      It was a plug and play process other than needing some washers to take up extra space. The Lorentz wheels would fit any tires also but they do require tubes sadly.

    Phenomenal videos bro! I’m thinking of buying the z1 or z3. I have 2 other boards so I might go with the lower wh

      @TTLBALLER  Před 5 měsíci

      That Z3 looks interesting. For up here where fire roads are super chunky I think it would be great but I do wonder how much weight those trucks add if your a mainly street rider... I guess that's where the Nomad or X1 comes into play though 😆

    Jeff, great video, nice production mate. As I just got my Z1 I have question about that air adaptor you showed as I have not tried airing up or down my wheels. Is that adaptor necessary? What are the specs on it? Also what grease did you use on your gears? Thanks.

    • @TTLBALLER
      @TTLBALLER  Před 5 měsíci

      Evolve lithium grease, it's cheap and made for eskates.
      www.rideevolve.com/products/lithium-grease?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAw6yuBhDrARIsACf94RWuiw5lG8xiquO8gY4u2I3TX4RRYq-evRXmmlIvkbRO6qaSBV4mDQ8aAkQcEALw_wcB
      The adapter isn't necessary but sure makes it a LOT easier getting the inflator hooked to the valve and minimizes air loss on removal. I like to know the exact pressure I run so it helps a lot. The Rigid inflator is great as it'll shut down also at the exact pressure you want.

    Love the edit, ideea, can you upgrade to the suspension trucks from Acedeck and see if you can make it even more stable of high speeds?

    • @TTLBALLER
      @TTLBALLER  Před 5 měsíci +1

      You can upgrade to the suspension trucks though I think that will make it more unstable however much better for off-road use. Hopefully spring will come around soon and I'll be able to get to go on the fire roads again.

    • @andreitudose3838
      @andreitudose3838 Před 5 měsíci

      @@TTLBALLER usualy the board is the one that should make it unstable, the suspention while it does have spirngs in it compousure it made to absorb an disipate not absorb and redistribuit it like a concave boars, plus the z3 is made to function eficinetly with the suspention so it should work ok

    • @TTLBALLER
      @TTLBALLER  Před 5 měsíci +2

      Just greased them actually, as I had a bearing failure in one of the gears opened it up replaced the bearing and regreased it and the other side. Trying to see what the noise was from.

    Have you used the riptide bushing adaptor so you can use the riptide bushing made for Lacroix boards. So you can have a wide range of duro?

    • @TTLBALLER
      @TTLBALLER  Před 5 měsíci

      That probably makes a big difference in riding. These bushings that come stock on these boards I feel leave a lot to be desired. Riptide is by far the way to go and guessing perhaps the Lacroix ones make it a step above also?

    • @daflip1500
      @daflip1500 Před 5 měsíci +1

      @TTLBALLER yeah I saw it on the lorents website looks like you can use the new style bushings on the matrix 2 trucks. Just wondering if you ever tried it but then acedeck can out with the suspension trucks for the z3 so I'll just wait on that. Before I get the bushings adaptors from lorentz

    • @TTLBALLER
      @TTLBALLER  Před 5 měsíci

      @daflip1500 I haven't tried new bushings on the Lorentz Yet. With our weather now it's hit and miss for riding. Have to plan between our storms. I think that should help the Lorentz quite a bit, it's so fast and powerful yet speed wobbles can hit you out of the blue making the power not as useable.
