Trying to think of a solid ride/challenge for the Lorentz Major today. Thought of going through Truckee then the long way around through a suburb called Tahoe Donner, only this ride would go around the entire neighborhood and climb all the major climbs along the way. Doing a 2,251 foot climb on the ACEDECK ARES X1 is awesome! Only issue is the way back down... Plenty of power and acceleration even on the steep climbs but top end speed needs to be adjusted! time of year has a lot to do with it. during the summer, in the sun and warm air, the bushings heat up and become a softer durometer. as opposed to winter time, it becomes quite a bit harder durometer. as the rubber strands (long chains of molecules that make up rubber) get colder, the atoms that vibrate less, allow the molecular chains to have more contact and friction with each other, like compressing a yarn ball, making the whole bushing a harder durometer and the board feel more stiff. this is just speculation, it could be something else.

How did you get over the fear of riding an eskate on not so paved roads? I feel like even with pneumatic tires it will get caught on a crack or bump on the road and I’d be flying off the board.

@@TTLBALLER I ordered a Velar and I couldn't see the bash guards as something that I could order separately. I have one on my Hadean and they have taken a beating protecting the motors. Hopefully I can get one down the track from Onsra.
@fredericksmith4176 you buy the gear drive? That's the version to get, but perhaps they couldn't design a bashguard to go around those motors.

@oculamcram no way. e bikes are difficult to transport, not that fast, not fun to carve the same way, more expensive and if you get a fast one it'll be illegal. ESkate ride anywhere throw it in your car, work on balance and carving, goes faster, legal and on and on.

THANKS FOR THE VIDEO lovely board i love the concept but unfortunately this model has been discontinued for several problems with motors cracking down and after customers nightmares and for that price it doesnt stand up with the rest of the line
Shoot! That really sucks but understandable! This board has also been a bit of a nightmare for me as well. It's awesome but perhaps a board that flew to close to the sun.

I'd love that! I do like the X3 deck though with a little longer deck I'd say it would be very ideal! Though being tall generally I just prefer longer decks for a better stance.
Interesting riding! I notice you move your front feet for sharper turns... Typically racers bind their front feet and move the back feet for sharper turns.
Yea, I'd say that's best. This was just on a narrow path and I didn't want to hit the center line so I was moving my feet to carve the line a bit harder.

Howdy Jeff...I have a N1 & got Acedeck to do a special order for me...Its got the 120a esc / 1036wh 50s Samsung cells for greater discharge..The board also come with the Element gear drive system..So far i GPS clocked it @ 50kph with urathene 100mm wheels & 60kph in sport mode with 6" wheels..Ive yet to test it out in sport plus as i believe it will easily hit 70kph...lol..It would probably do 70+ with 7" tyres...Its next levell and its faster than my N3 or Z1...Its the type of board that you treat with repect...I balanced the wheels so its super smooth..But ive not seen any others like it..🖐😊
That sounds like an insane board. Yea that's a machine to respect for sure!!! Couldn't imagine going anywhere over 70. You'd have to have those trucks tightened to the max level.

@Steven-qm1xo seems like stock bushings always suck. Surprising why these companies just don't use a Riptide bushing to begin with.
@@TTLBALLER probably a preference thing anyway..but i spent hours & hours perfecting this combo so its as good as it gets i believe......It goes like this....95a/ 93a rear & 90a/ 87a front...This gives a progresive feel ...For lighter rider you could come down to 93a/ 90a rear & 87a/ 85a front..

We're super fortunate to have such clear water. As it's mostly ice melt from the surrounding mountains it's very clear clean water.

It doesn't get in the way. It's definitely always on your mind but I have yet to have it cause any major issues riding. Looks weird but it slowly grows on you...
@@TTLBALLER I don't usually put my foot in the center either but just having it there makes me feel confined haha. I get that this ends up giving the board good clearance and it is a mountain board style. Just hoping that one day battery technology evolves to the point where we don't need something like that!
@BN99239 ONSRA VELAR has a sleek battery underneath. I do enjoy riding with my back foot central at times when it's a casual ride so that's not possible on this one. Though the velar has a sweet deck and shape for street riding and still has solid clearance underneath.
The pack on top isn't just about clearance ots also top mounted to protect the pack from impacts, the bottom of my telum ba looks like it's been through a war,I live in Southern AZ and even the asphalt is rough here lol
Have you tried balancing the tires/wheels? If you are feeling a lot of vibration more than likely it's the tires not being balanced. Every big tire I've ridden on my boards has needed to be balanced. Another great video keep them coming!
That's my plan, seems like it's really the rear right wheel that needs balanced. However I'm sure doing all of them would be a game changer.

I imagine that'll be a 36-40 mile day. More if there's no climbs... a lot more.
I've wondered whether the endurance 2.0 plus (14s8p 1450 wh) or the nyx z1 1554 will have more range. It's a tossup with the weight difference
@@aratay3117 i believe the Z1 to be a better off road board as the deck flex absorbs the bumps...The two boards would be similar in range ..However the N3 would be a better comparison to the Mboard endurance..🖐
N3 might be the best overall boards out there. The MBoard is cool but I don't think the deck shape would be a nice as ACEDECK.

Had issues ordering the tynee ultra hub & have seen & heard horrible things about meepo. So definitely leaning towards the Veymax roadster. I think you can switch the jelly wheels to other wheels which is a PLUS 🔥
Uh'O perhaps Meepo is too big for their own good. They haven't had any boards that really appealed to me so haven't bought any of them. For the value I think you'll really enjoy the Veymax. Also swapping the jelly wheels should give a big performance boost
Man Tahoe seems amazing for boarding. Salt lake has a surprisingly little amount of paved bike trails and the river trails are super flat and go through towns so it's not that good. The mountain bike trails are also way too steep for any eboard.
O man, that's not as optimal. I'm sure there's some good spots to drive to perhaps? However those mountain roads are probably straight up and down.
@@TTLBALLER there are some good mountain roads but theyre usually pretty crowded with cars and no shoulder/bike lane
@mikeyp8778 ouch! I'm guessing your mainly riding mountain style boards then. Pneumatic tires sound like the only way to optimally ride around SLC.
@@TTLBALLER wheels don't really matter to me, I don't go offroading. bigger is better though since its faster. need to find a way to fit 250mm wheels so i can get to 47mph. ive spent thousands of hours on my regular longboard and its a good workout pushing up the mountains. eboard is if im lazy and want to carve uphill lol. eboard has definitely made me more out of shape thats for sure. first eboard was tynee ultra couple years ago, got the ares x1 ~5 months ago and havent really used the tynee since
Wow...what a super cool board..looks fantastic on that camera. ..We've not seen the Z1 for a while but the X1 is so sleek..The fast charger will charge it in 2.5hrs ..i can get 35klm from mine..Tyres hold up well to...😊👍
Funny as I was just thinking of buying the fast charger and seeing how it would be riding the Z1 all over Tahoe area fast charging along the way. I have the 1300 wh battery which I think will give me enough range to get between towns and the big climbs along the way.

Great video as always. Maybe lower the music when you're talking? Cheers. One I deal I had and I'm not sure you'd want to do it but as you're reviewing all these different boards, is to have a leaderboard table of all of them. Maybe rate them each out of 5 or 10 for different features like, battery life, power, off road, on road etc. it's very hard for me to keep track of exactly where this one would fit in, compared to the others. Just an idea. Maybe it's too much hassle, but would be neat. ✌️
I think I'll put a compilation together. I'd like to get a bunch of them together and test them m. Days are usually packed but I think it would be useful to just have a day riding the boards I have and rating them like you said. Thanks for the heads up with the music. I am just starting to get used to my new x1 by Acedeck .. It is my 3rd board and I love it . I have just had a total knee replacement. This board was my encouragement to do my physiotherapy. So glad that I got it . Maybe not the best board but wow it is fun to ride and it is a lot of board to master . Will be a while till I need another now .
This board is so awesome! I'd say it has everything someone needs in esk8. Sure some will go further and be overall faster but there's downsides to heavier battery packs and safety when it comes to boards being able to go 40 mph.

It's all good, it was really dumb I didn't turn my camera around. Could've had a viral video 😅😂🤣. I put my street wheels from the Lorentz Major onto my Z1. Worked great! Those wheels and tires are a sweet combo! You'll enjoy them.
Hey great video and too bad the Tesla driver soured your mood. Jared from acedeck is a great guy! I bought my x3 from him and was able to put pneumatic wheels. I had bkb tires on but at esk8con I picked up a set of 6inch nova tires and the x3 rides awesome! Super smooth compared to pu wheels and the free rolling resistance is the best for downhill. Let me know if u want pics or info on how I modified my x3. I was going to visit lake Tahoe on the drive home from esk8con but travelled west to LA and San Fran instead... Probably check out lake Tahoe when all the snow melts away. Curious to know if u bought all your esk8 boards or are they sponsored buy the company?
