It further solidified some decisions I have made regarding the FX30 and how I want to use it with future projects. Thanks man!

Glad to help! I never use S&Q anyways. I prefer just shooting whatever I want in slow motion at a higher frame rate and then slow it down myself in editing. You have more control over the style of the shots that way and can do things like speed ramps into and out of the slow motion parts instead of only being able to do what the camera processes for you.
Just ordered a FX3. I’m planning on shooting in XAVC S-I in mostly 25fps but i will also be shooting a fair amount in 50, 60 and 120fps. My plan was to get a 320GB CFe, but now i’m thinking it won’t be enough? I’ll only need enough space for a day of shooting, and for me a day of shooting is approx. 1-3 hrs of footage. This means that the 320GB won’t be enough right? But the 640GB is so damn expensive 😢 I’m also thinking about getting a V90 256GB for when i shoot at 25fps, and then a 160GB for the slowmotion shots. It’s possible to setup shooting modes with framerates and cards so i won’t have to switch manually every time, right? I don’t know what to do 😅… I have the money for the 640GB CFe, but it could be nice to save some money now when i’m already dropping so much cash on a FX3 and rigging/accessories.
If you think you’ll need the 640GB then you’ll actually save more in the long run by getting it now instead of realizing later that you need it after you bought other ones that don’t meet your needs and end up buying it anyways. If it’s a V90 card then you’re good.
Kingston Canvas React Plus SDXC UHS-II U3 V90 SDR2/128GB -
This one will be good for Sony fx3?
It’s good for all the modes up to V90 speeds.
What setting would be ideal for SD cards that are 256gb 190 MB/s V30?
If you’re only using a V30 card you just won’t be able to access the higher bitrate options. Select what you want to use, and if the memory card isn’t fast enough the camera will let you know.
fx 30 upgrading to 2.0 reads lexar sd 128gb 270mb/s 1800x class 10 uhs-ii v60 and sd uhs-ii 128gb v60: write speed up to 130mb/s and read speed 250mb/s or sdxc prograde v60 uhs- the 128gb ?
Is this a question?

Sorry this was recorded with sony 85mm lense.
I’m looking into a FX3 or a7s3 but can’t choose
If you’re focused on video then I’d get the FX3. I’ve had both cameras and like the FX3 way better.
Where can I actually order one of these cameras ? Lol..everywhere seems to be out of stock..
Directly from Sony website maybe? 🤷🏻♂️
Perhaps? More people are probably buying them now that there are multiple cameras that are compatible.
@@CamberFilmSchool sorry for the confusion I meant one of the cameras lol
Can I use the Ninja V for 4K Slow motion ?
You can just shoot 60 or 120 fps in camera and just slow it down in a 24 fps timeline. You don’t need extra equipment.
v90 is good enough for HS 4k in S&Q. Right?
It depends on the frame rate you’re using.
I just received my a6700 what sd card do you recommend.
If you want to be able to shoot in every mode then you’ll need a V90 card. This is the one I use: amzn.to/3OkBBU5
@@CamberFilmSchool even 4k 120fps. Sorry just starting my camara journey and just received my a6700 and wana shoot in every mode. Thanks 🙏🏻
Based on the the manual, a V90 should be sufficient.
@@CamberFilmSchool thank you 🙏🏻
👍
So I was looking into upgrading my sd cards since I have been having this weird issue with Sonys proxy files (FX3) where some just won’t be there anymore and it makes it much more frustrating to edit. I have V60 cards from Sony and they work great for shooting XAVC at 200Mbs. Has anyone else had the proxy disappearing issue? I rather not have to shoot in All-I but if it makes editing better and better quality. I just don’t want to have to drop a couple hundred on 4 V90 cards. thanks anyone who can help :)
I’m not totally sure because I never shoot with proxy files. How come you’d need 4 cards instead of just 2?
I have the 80GB with same writing speed and i still get error message
Have you formatted the card in the camera?
@@CamberFilmSchool i thought I did because it erased some content
Which nice are you trying to shoot? And what type of 80GB card is it?
Can Sony FX30 take photos?
Yea.
