    When we see former Sabres playing really good on other teams I think the key lessons we have to learn are A) those teams are already built with developed players and ready to compete in the playoffs. So they play better together. And B) when our young team gets older it’s likely that our current players will play this good together or even better.
    I think it’s hard for our fans to see this because we’ve never really seen a proper rebuild all the way through! It’s only a matter of time. Imagine if all these former players were still all on the same team together. Our current rebuild has a chance to become even better.

      well said....Adams wont panic and start dealing any young players on the roster.
      He didnt panic and bring a veteran goalie. Now the goalie position looks strong for the next decade. The D can take a big step with all the talent. Cant wait.

    I can absolutely see Cirelli on this roster... He is aggressive, very skilled and responsible in both ends. Sign him asap!

    Cozens had a down year. I have faith Lindy’s gonna help him bounce back. The potential is cleary there

    Joe: cozens can’t shoot
    Cozens goes on a scoring spree
    Joe: cozens can’t play center
    Cozens tears up worlds at center
    Joe: must be just a Buffalo thing
    Don’t get me started on his takes on upl.
    The sneaky part about Joe is that he sneakily portrays hot takes and knee jerk reactions like they’re actually competent hockey takes. Great work.

      Not to mention he literally goes from "Send the Lightning out of the playoffs while they struggle with their cap" to "trade for Cirelli to help Tampa out" within a couple minutes.

    No buy out for Skinner. I want to see him contribute next year . And finally make the playoffs. He's still very capable of putting up 35! + goals.

    tbh, Its a country thing. He is playing for his country...not an american team. Mind you I'm sure the break between NHL ending and this beginning is all it sometimes takes for a reset.

    The problem with Cirelli centering Benson and Quinn is, you’re either going to have to have Benson and Quinn on the 3rd line, or have an $8M Cozens as a 3rd line Center. Either scenario doesn’t seem like a great idea.

    • @danevertt3210
      @danevertt3210 Před 26 dny

      Why would Cozens be the third line center?

    • @KetoFitChef
      @KetoFitChef Před 26 dny

      @@danevertt3210 that’s why I used the word “either”. Based on the line he projected Cirelli to be on, he would EITHER be the 2nd or 3rd line

    • @danevertt3210
      @danevertt3210 Před 26 dny +1

      @@KetoFitChef he said Cirelli would be 3rd line. I can see Cozens, Peterka and a skilled rookie play 2nd.
      And that would be a great top 9!! Damn!!

    • @jlickmyballs
      @jlickmyballs Před 26 dny

      2nd line centre, meat!

    • @KetoFitChef
      @KetoFitChef Před 26 dny +1

      @@danevertt3210 I totally agree. All I’m saying is that I don’t see Benson or Quinn as 3rd line wingers. If Peterka moves up to the top line, that would move Skinner to Cozens line. So either Benson and Quinn play on the 3rd, or Cozens does.
      My best suggestion would be to put Benson on with Cozens and Quinn where Peterka was 2 years ago and try to recreate the success that line had. Skinner is where I’m having trouble, because he’s not a 3rd line player either. So I guess rotating the 3 Left Wingers the to 2 lines when a line seems flat every few games is an option.

    Cozens had a bad year. He’s closer to a 25+ goal scorer than what he did last year.
    52+% on face-offs at IIHF World Championships with 8 goals and 6 games.

    He didn't do jack squat for the sabres this season. Dylan needs to bulk up over the summer to be an impact player. His defensive game needs work. Too soft.
