The advantage the Highlander has, is that it accepts various eyepieces with different fixed power ranges as opposed to the zoom eyepieces. Good quality fixed power will always have the edge in clarity over zoom eyepieces.
Armando Mada jr how have you liked the BTX paired with the 65mm objective? I have the STX-65mm objective and am considering upgrading to the BTX eyepiece but am nervous that the 65mm will be insufficient. Do you think it’s worth getting a larger objective to pair with the BTX? Thanks in advance.
Sam, sorry for the delay. It is a fixed power and depends on the objective lens. It is 30x on the 65mm and 85mm, and 35x on the 95mm. Swarovski will be offering a 1.7x extender this year as well so it will to 50x and 60x. When we made the video I accidentally said the 85mm was 32x which we didn't catch in time so we had to cut it out all together...my bad :) Thanks for asking

They look fantastic. How do they go 'digiscoping', or ramming a video camera up their date? Does it matter which ocular lens you use for that?
Thx Chris I just got my 65mm with BTX.. Can't wait to glass up some cousedeer in Southern Arizona (Arivaca)...

Chris- The BTX look great but what is the power range? Is it a set power, continuously variable, or just set power options?
Thanks Sam

Chris, What are the stats on the 2 other Big Eyes. Are they the Florite and ED versions?
Steve, good question. I am working on a written review that will be in the next issue Western Hunter. I will get those stats together.
Chris Denham good video thx ..
Chris, does the eye piece adjust to an individuals eye width like the Kowas?
Greg yes they do. The amount of movement is about the same as the 15x56. We actually filmed that movement but somehow it got cut in the edit
