Love your attitude about this bag and not caring about what people will say. kislux You are right keep your head up and no your priorities.
Really enjoyed this episode tonight. What caliber are you guys shooting?
Thanks! Part II is next week and that’s a great one too. We had an X-Bolt 1 in 6.8 Western and an X-Bolt 2 in 300 Win Mag. Both worked great!
Awesome pack can’t wait for the results and how you like it keep posting
Thanks Armando!

❤❤❤ I like your stuff ❤❤❤
Hi Mark, can you spec your rifle for me? I don't know every brand well enough to say. Thanks! Great review. I just subscribed.
Hey Charles! This is a Defiance Deviant action in a Manners folding stock that was custom-built by AxisWorks in Tempe, AZ. Timney Trigger and Accu-Tac bipod.
@@westernhunter Thanks Mark.
@@westernhunter Hey, last question. Will the Kahles 18i see clearly out to 1,000 yards for my .762 to hit? Or should I go for the Kahles 525i? Thanks again.
Been eyeing up Weatherby for my next purchase. Leaning towards a 257wby in this Live Wild gun.
That'd be a great move!
Must be a deal with sportsman’s channel why it’s released there first and not on MOTV at the same time??
Yep. Can't be streamed until October.
That’s a great early review, Chris. Will you give us a more detailed review once you have used them operationally? Would love to know how you feel about using these without a tripod for an extended time. Are they manageable carrying around your neck? Thanks again. 👍🏻
Hey! Camera man speaking for Chris here. We'll definitely put together a follow-up video after we get some more time with the 52s this season. While these 14x52s are a little larger than the 42s, they're pretty comfortable to handhold-a huge improvement over the 15x56 SLC. Some even say better than the 42s because they fit the hand better. After carrying 15x56 and EL 12x50s on my chest, I'd say they're more than manageable in a bino harness or with a strap. Call the guys at Outdoorsmans if you have any more questions! 1-800-291-8065 Thanks for the comment!
@@westernhunter thanks guys, much appreciated 🙏🏻
I drew a tag for this year- super stoked! Great video Nate - I'd love to share this video on my channel @USA OutbackTV
Since ratings are subjective, there’s an argument that you shouldn’t discuss them until all reviewers have finished their evaluations.
Can't wait for this! Nates backpack and flycamp style of public land hunting resonates well with New Zealand hunters.
My favorite narrator for sure! Always love the openings. Can't wait to watch them all.
Will the RX-5000 drop a pin on Onx map when out of cell service and using down loaded maps ?
Great question. I believe it will but I will have to verify that myself. I'll let you know.
I reached out to our friends at Leupold and confirmed that no internet connection is needed for the pinning feature to work. You can apply your pins using downloaded maps. It's also worth noting that in their testing of the pinning accuracy, their dats consistently got them within 25 yards of a pin placed at 1,000 yards. There could have been several factors effecting my pin accuracy - metal interfering with the laser, the cactus not being the most reflective, etc.
Entering my first real year of hunting and I've decided I'm going to splurge on one item (go all the way, if you will), and that's going to be my binos. I have an entry level Vortex RF (7x mag) that will suite my needs for ranging and I do not yet have a scope. I'll be hunting deer, antelope, and elk in my home state, Idaho. After my lengthy introduction, my question for you is if you would recommend the NL 10x52's, NL 12x42's, or NL 14x52's? I'd love to go with the 14's as this will be the superior choice on a tripod. However, I will also be using them (solely) for handheld glassing. Do you think a lesser magnification will suite me better because of stability? Or do you think the 14's are stable enough to run on my chest, as well as on the tripod? Thanks in advance! This was a great video!
While the 14s are truly spectacular, we're seeing a lot of interest in the 10x52 for a combo of handheld/tripod use. If I had to go with one for everything, a 10x52 or a 10x42 would be my choice - especially with a mix of open country and canyons.
what black table is that inside the tent?
280 rem great calibre
Best hunting show out there period. When will it be available on your website subscription?
Big fan of the show!
Real solid teaser!
Probably my favorite hunting show! I cannot wait for the next season to begin! Thank you for the quality content and realistic portrayal of the difficulties of hunting…not just a point and shoot game…
Thank you for the kind words! We can't wait for you to see it.
Definitely the show with the highest production quality. Now, just gotta add the episodes to youtube.
Meh
Thanks for your insight!
Ugly boots. Get a pair of Red Wing Iron rangers or if you have the money get a pair of Nick's. Stay away from flash in the pan hyper branding like these.
To each his own. I love the look. I love Iron Rangers, too, but they definitely lean towards the "clown shoe" end of the spectrum. The mini lug on the Origin is a super classy look and a great trade-off between comfort, looks, and practicality. I have a pair of Red Wing 9111 with the white Cristy wedge soles. They're ridiculously stiff, making them super clunky, especially for a non-work boot, even after the leather has become as soft and supple as can be. I f*cking HATE wedge soles.
how about hand held, any shake?
The 10x52 is very good for hand holding, and the 14x52 is shockingly comfortable for 14.7 magnification! Very doable.
Rediculous at this price point the headrest is not included . The the dial on it tirns so easily it never stays in place I’d have expected Ny now they’d have fixed that. Kind of lame
What dial ? Do you mean the focusing wheel ( which is designed by the worlds best optical engineers to turn easily ) or the diopter adjustment mechanism which never moves ? And as for price well like anything else in life you get what you pay for !think Ferrari , Snap on , Rolex 😂
@@jasonhiggins6431the dial on the forehead stabilizer. I don’t find they are worth the $ compared to other binos at a fraction of the price they may be 5% better than others but not at 2x the cost. My fujinon smtx beat them in focus clarity, color fidelity, edge to edge, transmission and chromatic aberration and they only cost $800 😂 all you lose is a bit of fov and slight weight/size penalty and they’re better in low light snd 3D
I bet my new Vipers are just as good.
Hey Boss…what are the specs on the Leupold? I suspect the 4.5-18x52 PR2 reticle, non-illuminated?
That is correct! We're liking it.
Always good for options. A+ Swaro!
Awesome can’t wait to see them ..Keep posting
Just picked up a pair of these today. Really wish they'd make the sf in wide sizes. I'm excited to see if these run cooler than my crispi guides. Also crispis (like almost all other boots) leak because gortex is trash. The liner usually breaks down around the toes from being flexed so often. You won't notice it in the rain or a creek crossing. Becomes very apparent in wet grass. Nice review
Do you have a one year follow up on these? I’m curious what your thoughts are after you wore them. Thanks for the unboxing video.
Working on getting part two out now!
So awesome! 🔥🔥looks great!
Awesome thanks for posting
Nice video to put that information out for us to see, one suggestion, before you handle and trout you should wet your hands.
I'll remember that next time, good tip!
What bipod is that?
That's the Gunwerks Elevate 2.0
Awesome
I want this rifle in the 6.8 Western.
Great choice in the short action! I’m glad they offer it in the 6.8 Western too!
How long does the propane last
Nate, just a great job at telling the story. Loved the vid shots! Great work!🎉
Glad you enjoyed it!
Are they true to size? I usually wear 9.5 in almost every shoe, and I’m not sure if I should size up/down with the Coronado.
The plate that the spotting scope is mounted. Where do you get it.
Outdoorsmans BTX Balance Rail outdoorsmans.com/products/btx-balance-rail
I'm considering both ATC and kowa 553. Over here the kowa 553 is only usd520 cheaper than ATC and only comes with 1 year warranty compared to 10 years from swarov. With a wider fov and potential higher resale value, more compact, it makes more sense to go with ATC for me.
Teton leather company is a great small business that is well worth supporting.
Heck yeah. Thanks for the comment!
I bought this book last year. I wore it for big game and upland bird hunting. They are a good boot. They run cooler than the Crispi Nevada. I would purchase this boot again and recommend it to friends. My favorite Crispi boots are the Nevada.
Great to hear that you're liking them too!
Thanks for the video. So far you are the only CZcamsr I can find who is doing LiveWild rifle content.
Friends in high places! Thanks for watching!
How loud are the zippers and magnetic closures, and any snag hazards with this rangefinder tether?
The zipper and magnetic closures are not loud at all. I’ve had zero issues with this harness, and it’s by far my preferred option on the market. I haven’t had any tether snag instances, and this harness contours very well to the body so I wouldn’t worry about that.
U have a cool ytb channel🥰Would u like to make a video about our boots🥾
Origin Boondocker boots?
A 124 Hammer or Barnes is not too light for elk at those velocities.
Good to hear. I’ve been on the fence and have heard mixed things from a couple guys who’ve used the 124gr hammers.
I think I’ve watched damn near every hunting show / channel there is and none come close to the WH.
We appreciate that so much! We sure love making it. Thanks for the comment!
