I was happy when Thanos started killing, Iâve been a fan of his since the 90s. They underpowered him, and changed his real reason for killing. But itâs for the MCU so they canât show him being a simp to Lady Death lol

In just the first 10 mins you realize how OP Thanos is. What a statement he made by Whooping Hulks ass in the very beginning of the movie lol. It's my theory that the reason why Banner is unable to transform for the rest of the movie is cuz Hulk got humbled for the first time ever and ain't wanna fight no more after that. Up until this movie we ain't never seen him lose like that.
Its very good theory but I would say he wasnÂŽt humbled. He was traumatized. Hulk is basically a kid mentally, who got trashed and almost killed by a bigger bully. It will cause some psychological effects.

Black panthers sister is named Shuri and itâs hard to say whoâs the smartest cause Banner, Tony and Shuri all advance in different subjects but maybe Shuri is overall because she grew up around the advanced tech in wakanda. Just a opinion I came up with off the top of my head.
I think technically shuri is the smartest, tony is second, and Bruce third. Although depending on the comic, because iron man is such a popular character, Tony is the smartest lol

Omg major lol you missed gamora explaining to thor thanos mission. His mission is to balance the universe as he says by killing half of all life. He believes the population is too great and that the universe would be better off with less life in it. So he goes to each planet and only kills half of the population to allow the half that remains to thrive and not be in poverty. Once he has all 6 stones he won't have to travel and conquer each planet individually he will be able to snap his fingers and do it instantly

Hulk and Banner had issues going back to Ragnarok. While it was a comedic scene, the bridge scene where Banner fails to turn into Hulk was foreshadowing the transformation problems heâd have in this movie. Getting his shit stomped in by Thanos didnât help either.

We made it - the best superhero movie ever made, in combination with Endgame. The intro of Thanos totally bodying Thor, Hulk, Loki and the Asgardians sets the tone perfectly, and Thor's return to the battlefield is one of the greatest sequences ever filmed. Tony, Cap, Spidey, T'Challa too they're all hall of famers out there man, legends. And you're really not alone thinking Vision was powered down for the story. Still amazing though.
10 years of stories lead up to this point to bring all these crazy characters together on screen, and 5 more years of stories have been dealing with the aftermath. People can argue about the genre all they like but the greatness of this achievement is undeniable, just like how awesome it feels to first experience this big finale for all these heroes we've loved and watched grow all along. Tragic, epic stuff, thank you for sharing your journey with us Major, love how much you've enjoyed it. We're in the Endgame now đ€Ż

Quick bits: In the scene on Knowhere, Thanos was using one of the stones to alter the realities Quill and Gamorah were seeing. (Her killing Thanos, Quill shooting her..) Those stones are no joke in this movie.
In the young Gamorah scene - Thanos only wants to kill 50% of the population, that is why half are left alive.
Just because you didnât remember, Tony got the flip-phone from Cap at the end of Civil War. Stan Lee delivered it and called Tony âTony Stankâ.

You REALLY need to pay more attention to the dialogue, Thanos' motives were explained a few times already in earlier movies. He seeks to balance the universe by killing half of populations. And names... Mantis was mentioned quite a few times in this movie and Guardians II. Love your reactions still, but it's the same nostalgic sort of frustration I had watching movies with my younger brother when we were kids! "What's happening now, who is this?!?" "PAY ATTENTION, THEY SAID IT FIVE MINUTES AGO" that sort of thing! :D It's good you've begun to pause the films when you need to look something up or make a more complex point. And then again, you're doing so many shows and movie series at the same time it's probably making it hard to keep things in line.
Anyways, it's great to see how much you enjoy the movies, and I've loved how you've also properly took in the solo films and so on instead of being in the moronic "only Avengers and Cap films that move the main story are good" or "it gets good only around Black Panther" nonsense camps! Shine on!

The reactions of all the younger people in my theater when me and my friends saw this opening night was quite something. Some of us were stoked to see what happens next, others were just very sad haha.
My favorite was reading a story how a dad brought his kids and at the end they were in tears saying "I thought the good guys were supposed to win".

You saw the beginning of Wanda and Vision's relationship in Civil War.
For Wanda, she had a chaotic childhood. Vision is kind and decent above all other things, so he is a kind of antidote for her awful childhood. Vision really loves Wanda. Whenever he makes a bad decision, it is usually Wanda-related.
Our Galaxy "The Milky Way" contains between 100 and 400 billion stars and at least that many planets. We've counted about an estimated 100 billion galaxies in the universe or so, at least. So there is probably life on a lot of planets out there. NICE REACTION! Thanks from Sweden.

Nobody ever gets why Hulk wonât come out. Two minutes ago Hulk got his ass absolutely handed to him by Thanos. That had never happened to him before, not that thoroughly. Obviously heâs humiliated and emotional, so heâs sulking like the giant toddler he is.

Banner can't turn into Hulk because Hulk is just scared and won't come out, for the first time in his life he was so easily and brutally defeated so he's afraid of Thanos.
Vision is very powerful, but remember when it comes to the power of comic book characters, THE ONE WHO THE SCREENWRITER CHOOSE WILL ALWAYS WIN, regardless of the real strength of these characters, and in this fight Vision could not show his power because he was badly injured at the start.
But the screenwriter still have fun here with the power of the character because Wanda, who is probably the most powerful character from the Avengers, could not defeat Thanos' envoys and Cap, Natasha and Falcon did it, so let's face it, not so powerful characters.
29:05 is not the power of Dr. Strange, Strange has a Time stone and can manipulate time in any way and here Thanos is using the Reality stone, i.e. he is playing with reality.
Thanos even says that now reality will be whatever he wants.
When it comes to stones, it's worth remembering which is which, they showed it at the beginning.
Violet - power stone
Blue - space stone
Red - reality stone
Green - time stone
Orange - soul stone
Yellow - mind stone

In the 1800s, there was a British intellectual named Malthus. At the time, a lot of commoners were starving to death (such as the Irish Potato Famine). Malthus suggested fixing the problem by killing half of all commoners. He could have suggested asking the nobles to live with fewer luxuries, but instead suggested the most horrible possible solution.
Thanos is like Malthus.
Once Thanos had all six Infinity Stones, he could have solved that problem in any number of ways. He could have doubled the resources of the universe. He could have doubled the number of universes and moved half of all life to the other one. Heck, he could have reduced the reproductive urges of all sentient beings by half. There are so many things he could have done, but like Malthus, he was fixated on the worst possible solution.

I could talk about space and the existence of other intelligent life all day long. In our Milky Way galaxy alone, there are hundreds of thousands of planets within the habitable zone. Now compare that statistic to the entire, never ending universe.

Right from the beginning, Heimdall and Loki's deaths always brings more than a few tears to my eyes.
I love that we got to see Peter's spidey senses tingle when he sees the space ship. And he immediately jumps into action, with the help from Ned causing a distraction. And this is one of my favorite Stan Lee cameos.
Love seeing Thor with the Guardians of the Galaxy. And the Thor, Rocket, and Groot team up.
Love seeing Vision in his human form if only for a short time. And Wanda fighting the Children of Thanos, first by herself and then joined by Steve, Natasha, and Sam was awesome.

Yep, Shuri has been discussed as being even smarter than Tony, and the smartest character in the MCU. She's done more with more advanced technology at a younger age. She is 16/17 (She was 16 in Black Panther), and is in charge of all the technology in Wakanda (the cloaking tech for the city, suits, medicine, military tech, etc). At a similar age, Tony had only been building computers and weaponry.

My personal head cannon on why thanos was able to beat hulk is that when hulk is fighting Thanos instead of anger it is replaced by fear thus hulk looses power (the angrier he is the more powerful he is), also the reason why hulk refuses to come out after going to earth is that he's embarrassed that he was beat by thanos
