Just don’t waste your money at a ear nose and throat doctor. Because they only test for certain things. The things that you probably are allergic to they won’t test for and will not be in your allergy shot. So go to her immuno therapist called an allergist where they test for everything under the sun when they give you your shots. I learned this the hard way.

I’ve been suffering from a stuffy nose since 2016. Finally had a CT Sinus done this year & turns out, my nasal turbinates are swollen. My ENT thinks that my swollen nasal turbinates are as a result of allergies. I’ve never been tested for allergies, so he’s referred me to allergist for allergy testing. Can allergy immunotherapy decrease my nasal turbinate swelling?

Skin test? Blood test is far more comprehensive.

there’s 2-3 stages of skin testing and blood testing isn’t typically used cause it can take a long time and a skin test takes 5-10 minutes for results

Skin tests are more accurate than blood work because they can result in false positive for something you are allergic to but are not actually allergic to suddenly people are doctor's on the internet but they don't know what they are talking about
