going into my fifth day on the job starting new, you sir have helped me more that I can express. coming from being an HVAC installer I have mechanical knowledge but there is plenty I need to learn.
There is always something to learn. I always tell techs never stop learning. I been doing this almost 20 years and recently spend several hundreds on the Master Samerai appliance course and its all worth it.
9:00 carry a piece of 1 1/4 abs to slide over your auger line before putting the auger in the drain, it helps protect the cabinet walls and the floor of the cabinets too. Less cleanup afterwards.
That auger we had at my last property, it's a POS, gets the job done but kinks easily when it hits a blockage or 90.. technically supposed to run it at medium to low speed...the third super we had came in and cleaned the shop an was going to throw it away, so I took it for me if I ever needed. It just needs a new cable, I'm eventually going to get a good quality one, the one for that isn't at all, get a rigid cable or one from drain cables direct, the custom build ya a cable if you want
Great video. I like the fact that you touched on angry residents. I do the same job and some people are hostile about me attending to fix the issue that THEY reported. Its strange and awakward and seems to just come with the job.
Ya, angry residents can ruin your day. I try and take the approach to change their attitude rather than match their frustration. I didn't always do it this way
I think that washer with the hot water on cold would have drove me crazy haha. For the golf tee, I've often used toothpicks. Easy to keep in a container, easy to break up and shove in the hole as the screw goes back in.
Just left the maintenance technician life after 2.5 years. I loved the company but techs in general get paid so little for how much we know and do. I'm happily moving to hvac
All depends on experience - set your experience to the highest bidder 👍 I stay in apartment maintenance because my boss is a regional director and knows what I'm worth. He also knows I could get a job doing HVAC for $40 an hour tomorrow if needed. I don't get $40 hr as a tech, but what I get with life/work/benefits/ is equal if not better than that. Also took 20 years to get to where I'm at.
We have the same washer and dryers and we have one that is shaking pretty bad when doing a load. Springs look okay, we are thinking it might be the bearings. Any thoughts or have you run into this before?
What is the name of the glue you use and the spray activator also what kind of backpack 🎒 do you use Love your channel Peace and love from Clearwater FL
This is the starter kit for the glue amzn.to/3HFHVDm I only use the green accelerator and glue, but the others have their uses. The backpack is Veto Tech Pac amzn.to/3wQQvbm

Plus it helps when it starts to kink up, the abs pipe won’t let it twist and loop on you.
Amazing tip Craig, will be implementing this in future videos 👍

I agree that auger is garbage
I really learned something new today with that stackable you did at the end, thanks man. I love these videos!
Thanks Nicholas!!

I've used toothpicks for years. No complaint on them. Bamboo golf tees are a tad stronger but love the toothpicks as well 👍 thanks for watching
Thanks for your hard work getting new vlogs out. Im here for all your content. Always look forward to the next one and enjoy your tips and tricks.
I appreciate that! Thanks!
Awesome. Love your videos. I use the golf tee's since watching you. You grabbed that washing machine bracket clip from a vacant huh? Lol
Thanks Ben!, I got the bracket from a 'boneyard' of appliances stored :) Love the golf tees!
Fixed all that with one hand 🤚🏼 your amazing bro 👏🏼
Thank you 🙏
Liked the temp switch repair. Goes to show what knowledge and experience will get you!
I’ve been stumped by that repair before, never again lol
I just became a mantinance tech with little to no experience. These videos are really encouraging. Thank you!
Hang in there man, i just finished my first year as a service tech guy and I have learned so much in a year.
Just left the maintenance technician life after 2.5 years. I loved the company but techs in general get paid so little for how much we know and do.

Not the case. I make more as a maint tech than i did in hvac...

Make sure it’s level and test on an empty load to see if it still shakes I’ve never really had an issue with theses models other than rhat
I cringe when you use a drill as a driver. I prefer a little impact when driving screws. Cheers!
Sorry about the kink..
I only carry one on me, I prefer drill. If I really need a driver I go to the trunk to get one 👍 I prefer one-trip work orders ultimately
