I pre ordered the Mafex Wonder Woman because even the solicitation for the PAK figure looked awful... However i have just learned about wrist issues in the past with MAFEX... Do you think i should just get the DC Collectibles that is coming out this November or just pray that the MAFEX will be a sturdy as she is visually accurate?

I kept looking at many Batman vs. Superman Wonder Woman figures. I have to say this figure looks good but has some drawbacks. I ended buying the Barbie Collection Black Label version of her because she looked really good, no torso or ankle movement but decent joints.
They should have changed the name to play arts gaps lol
So sad to really hear that you won't be making anymore PAK reviews. I do agree that they're being priced ridiculously high nowadays. That's mainly the reason why I'm holding off buying Armored Batman and Wonder Wonder. I feel just adding a little more for the hot toys version is more worth it. I almost picked those two up earlier.
Can you swap that head with another 1/6 scale? Like a Hot Toys head or similar?

Hopefully the Figma version will be good (if it hasn't been cancelled). I have a bad feeling though that she'll be like Thor in the way that the only figure for her that will end up having great articulation and a spot-on likeness will be the Hot Toys version. Usually if I can find a medium-priced figure with a great likeness and articulation I just go with that version and save myself some money and these days MEZCO, NECA, Figuarts and a few other companies are creating those options but for some characters (like Thor) if you want a really good likeness in the head sculpt and sweet articulation you have to go Hot Toys, and like I said above, I'm hoping that's not what ends up happening with Wonder Woman, I'd prefer to spend $60-$100 instead of the $220+ or whatever they'd want.

What's the retail price on this figure? I saw one for $70. But at 11" i thought it'd be more.
From what I remember in the movie, WW only mounted her sword on her back. I don't recall her ever sheathing it on to her hip. PAK error or DC/WB?
With that, I think I'll pick this up when it's on sale or something. $150 is just too much and I feel there are other better figures for $150. Great Review!
Passed on all their BVS figs, really sad to see where PAK is now, used to love the line, I'm probably going to make my last pick up their Arkham Knight Nightwing

Just subscribed! I used to collect Play Arts but stopped over a year ago. The prices keep going up and and I don't see the justification. The newer batman variants showed at sdcc are in the 200 price range, its nuts!!!

what's wrong with the play arts Kai stand's ? I only have the blue variant of the mark 5 halo and it didn't come with a stand lol
they hard ugly, poorly designed, and cant be used for anything but standing poses.
Only PAK figure i ever bought was H4 chief, H2A chief looked good too but i feel like for the price point these last fiew sets should have been way better
Nice review. You make detailed, thorough reviews. You know your stuff and I agree with you on this one: they should up the detail or lower the price. With all your knowledge and advice ignored by square enix I think you would be successful at making your own action figures. Anyway, I've subscribed and liked. Hope this makes your day!

I stopped collecting PAK after their Thor figure. Nothing has really impressed me since. Especially with the increase in price. I'm glad some overseas merchants sell these figures without the box and stand but with all accessories for a hell of a lot cheaper if I do feel the need to get one in the future.
they are all Bootlegs with horrible Paintjobs and joint issues

I'm trying to buy all three but watching the superman review it's down to batman and wonder woman,but with batman the color looks weird and I think buying and displaying the arkahm city batman and this wonder woman would be quite off in my view
Looks like she belongs in a Final Fantasy game but that's to be expected due to who makes these figures. I don't know, this isn't something I'd buy and I doubt anyone would who wanted a movie style Wonderwoman.

+AnthonysCustoms you are right! they keep on messing up on the proportions and the sculpt of the figures, its just not good... And Batman is my favorite character, but now i think square enix killed it...
Despite those problems i really liked the figure it looks good and i also liked the face sculpt it looks like a matchup between Gal Gadot and the comics

Biggest problem I find is the skin coloring. Incredibly monotone in contrast to the very well painted armor.
Agreed with you bro.... bought all the PAK Batman V Superman figures... but this will probably be my last PAK.... not worth the price

Healready reviewed Variants on Batman on his channel and he just said he won't be doing anymore PAK figures after this he might consider doing it for only the Wolverine and Deadpool once it's painted but other then that he's fully done with the line.

Paximus Prime I already know but Anthony haves no interest over them. Even on his Fb page he doesn't seem toom excited over them. Plus PAK are releasing the same figures of BVS Batman and Superman just in black and white color which they brand it as their SDCC 2016 "Exclusive" when it's just the same figure just different colors even the price of it is the same
+David Marrero You never know and the SDCC Exclusive BVS figures are stupid. I wouldn't expect him to review shitty figures again. But the new Batman variants look cool and he might wanna review em cause of how he's reviewed the past ones and liked a few of em or might not. I'm not asking him to go out of his way and buy em. I was simply asking a question to see if he was perhaps thinking about it and was waiting for a response from him.

I agree with you guys, PAK isn't doing so good this time around some weird reason.
They are well aware that their name is established as being a good one. Now they release figures with glaring problems in design, because they are banking on their name alone selling their products. Quality doesn't matter when you have die hard collectors and fanboys.

They still do an excellent job with their video game characters which is what drew me in in the first place. that new Sephiroth is a must have.
If only you can consult all the various toy companies on where and how to use different joints in their figures and overall design . lol

I like the figure even with all of its flaws you mentioned. I even like her face scultp. From a dead on angle it looks cool.
I hate the elbow joints on PAK figures. Their Tifa suffers from the same issue. Such an ugly look for a bare arm.

She looks great but those legs are way too thick, They gave her the inner tear drop muscle look too big and manly. They should have used the same legs as Ann Hathaway Catwoman.

Play Arts Kai figures are too big. If they were 5-6 inches like SH Figuarts, there's a lot of them i would get that Figuarts never make.

they don't expect too much. they are being charged too much relative to the final product.
what about cost to ship figure to other countries, paying the people in the production, and all that that go into making the figure.
