you're wrong about the boots, check her arts. she only wears the heels in the special mission pack you got when you pre ordered, otherwise she wears boots.
After seeing your review I went and checked some of the game promo images for the Harley Quinn story pack on the web, and she is wearing combat boots similar to the figure, as far as the bat I don't really know, the police hat and the hand that you say is for looking at her nails is based on the trailer, there is a part where she does the pose putting on the hat, I guess they based it on the promo trailers and not on the game. The figure looks great to me, I have the Arkham Asylum and the Arkham city figures and I look forward to adding this one to my collection.
+Lester Roque yeah. the heeled boots are from the dlc. they look way nicer than these imo. anyway, the ac one still wins as the best figure since this one doesnt look right in the face at all.

I actually still am planning on getting this figure, the calm head with the police hat does look a bit weird and the waist does look too thick as well but other than that I think it looks really good, especially compared to batman and robin. And the boots I don't mind if inaccurate cause with high heels it's a pain in the ass to pose so it's a win/lose situation.
her nails are supposed to be left unpainted, and the hat is supposed to be tilted just like the scene where she puts the hat on
Always come to Anthony when I need questions answered. I thought she had a toe hinge but mine are stuck I wanted to make sure it’s actually stuck before I heated her foot up to loosen that joint
I have no idea what came over me. I never buy figures but saw this on sale for $40 and thought why not.. it's Harley Quinn, so I got it. Then I saw the Arkham City Harley and thought it looked really cool too and laid down $100 for that o.O
Now I want the Arkham Asylum Harley!! This is why I didn't want to get into figures lol
I can totally agree with you on the lack of a flare on her upper torso (width wise anyways). But I wonder how early on this figure was sculpted. If it was sculpted before the game was completed, I wonder if it could represent any changes that might have occured to the character before the game's release. I suppose a demo may have shown that, but I don't remember Harley featuring prominently in any of the adverts of promotional work, so I'd have to try and find something to validate my theory. Of the AK series, it's sad that the figures don't have a bit better qc, as I'm certain the increased resolution of the original material could have provided better bases for the final sculpts. While limited, this is still a great addition for completionists wanting to finish their Arkham series but will probably disappoint most everyone else. I really liked Ivy and Arkham Knight was passable, but they still fell short of my expectations.

Her boots are like that in gameplay. The only time she has high heeled boots in her story pack when you get to play as her.
Over all I think the figure looks nice, beside the face which is very bland looking, but i do see wha you're saying about the mid section's thick proportioning. I haven't played the game but I do know if I had and the figure was inaccurate i would be bothered. From what I've seen online there were some promotional images of Harley and she was wearing those boots so that probably where playarts got their design from, I think there is another figure out there of the character with those boots as well.

The bat definitely doesn't match, you are correct.
ok wait there are 2 models done for campaign and one for dlc and both look quite different especially in the boots so cut her some slack and with the face it looks like they were going for the first trailer for her dlc so ease cut her some slack. People worked hard on thin figure it looks great to me.
Square-Enix has been making PAK figures for the Batman Arkham games for a while and although the most recent ones weren't as great, I would of really liked it if they made a Nightwing one. IMO he deserves the PAK treatment.

It's not bad looking. I'd like to see a NECA Harley as well as an Arkham Knight figure.
Sucks to see that this figure is pretty "meh" like the rest of the line. I was kind of looking forward to this one. A few things though:
-The police hat is supposed to be at that angle on her head to recreate her look for the Pre-Order bonus advertisement (she never had it on completely straight or anything).
-The boots in-game actually don't have the heel. They're just regular boots like on the figure. In the Pre-Order bonus, they're high-heeled, but for some reason, in the main game, they're just regular boots.
-She also doesn't have painted nails in the game, but that's so minor that it doesn't really matter either way.
Other than those little things, great review. I always like your honesty when it comes to the positives and negatives of figures.
+Marxanzor13 i know the hat is supposed to be crooked...but it looks really bad the way it just sits on top of her head. the heeled boots look way better imo. the nails thing wasnt a complain. just thought it was funny to have the hand for looking at them and have them not painted. thanks for the support

Agree. I rather prefer collecting the previous Arkham Asylum/City Play Arts Kai, they look way better in my opinion.

Play Arts are not enough good for me. They are expensive so. I prefer SH Figuarts for The price, and Figma for quality.
+Chris G Sadly, that does seem the way of it. Play Arts for scale, SH Figuarts for price and Figma for aethetic quality. Don't get me wrong, there are Play Arts that have an aesthetic quality that FAR exceeds Figma- take the recent Play Arts Kai FFVII:AC line, for example (though I expect they'll be re-releasing Tifa with a 'squishy boob' torso after fans see the way it's worked for Harley)- but usually Figmas do look better. Even bootleg Figmas/'Fakemas' look better usually- I have two Fakemas- SAO Kirito and Asuna- and I prefer them to my official PAK KH:DDD Riku (Tron: Legacy ver.) because they look so much better (probably due to scale, but still).

I wonder if they were given really early concept art as a basis? I know they make stylistic choices but I don't know why they'd be so inaccurate.
+Hazy992 all of the ak figures are based on old designs...which is really dumb.
Did you get the cheap chinese version? So you know, these are made in japan (over $100), but they are ripped off in China ($50.00 on Ebay) and are like 50% quality. I have some older Ones that are great, but it seems like they are really falling off in quality and going up in price with these figures.

I wouldn't be so hard on it, it's still the best Arkham Knight Harley figure on the market. The DC direct one looked horrible.

Ok the boots are right . She has two different ones in the game . Story pack is where they are heeled and in the main story they are not . the back of the corset should have been tied up with red lace not blue . Also the head is fine as no one was obviously using the actual in game versions for anything . Dc collectibles didn't and Play Arts Kai sadly didn't either . They really should've waited for the game to come out and then made these .
Also her nails are not painted in game and that bat actually came from a picture that was released a year before the game came out and this bat was never actually used in game except for one screenshot . So they totally didn't do this off of in game .

Yup . I mean everything matches earlier concept art looks. Now at least some of it is right but . Instead of the gun and cop hat since she never used them in the game . I would've gave her the bat ,the big gun from the game ,and a extra set of high heeled boots . So you could do the story pack or the main story look .

Man this has been a really disappointing line.
Play Arts Kai is really hit and miss for me these days. Sometimes they'll put out a good figure, but other times they put out really mediocre stuff.
