Heart Disease and My Progress So Far

- Well I'll tell ya, heart disease sucks! This is an update to my first video shortly after surgery. I am progressing, just not as fast as I would like. It is definitely a slow process. I hope Tuesday is my last obstacle to tackle then I can really begin to recover. If you have any questions just leave them in the comments below.
I know this was not an entertaining video but I promise as soon as I can the content will get better. Between the virus and my recovery, it makes it really hard to come up with stuff. Plus I live in Michigan, We could be locked down forever!

Good luck to you sir, be patient. I survived two flat lines two years ago! Took time but I feel great now and have a new appreciation for life.
I love hearing survival stories, very encouraging! I already have a new appreciation as I basically went into surgery with one foot in the grave. Been thinking about that a lot.
Holy heck Mark, You look and sound like a new man already compared to your last video :) Great to see ya and hear that thing's are going as well as they can be. Will be thinking of you this week, hopefully Tuesday is another step towards the good
I feel like I am recoving as far as pain and mobility are concerned. Just have to get this heartbeat thing under control then I think I'll start getting my energy back. Thanks!

I really miss riding already even though it has been rainy here. Going to hit bike week in March also.
Good to see your alright , sounds like things are starting to come together . You are one tough dude to make through all that . Concentrate on taking care of yourself and hope you get better soon , we can always get together later . Prayers for you and Diesel . If you need anything let me know .

Yea I'm hoping. My only hold back right now is this heartbeat issue. Hope tomorrow that will be resolved!

Hang in there Mark, I’m praying for you. You will ride again, stay focused on your health and we will see you at Sturgis next year.
I already have a room reserved for Biketoberfest in October! My restrictions end on Oct. 15. The same day Biketoberfest starts. And yes looking forward to Sturgis next year! I think I am going to retire so it will free up a lot of time to travel around. Thanks for thinking of me, I really appreciate it!

You look like your doing well man...just hang in there. If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call...Glad your recovering well. You for sure do not want to get hit in the chest by an air bag....that would be an ouchie.

Thanks for checking. I have been going through a few complications that I just about have straighten out now. I'm definitely very low on energy and that's why I haven't going to video in a while. I went through congestive heart failure and my AFib condition where I had to get shocked to fix it. Now I'm having to take medicine for low magnesium in my blood that was created by the medications I was taking. That's supposed to straighten out in a week or so. But I have been feeling better over the last couple weeks. Just hope to get back to somewhat normal soon.

Diesel thanks you for the rub down! Just finished my last physical therapy this morning so definetly on the mend, finally!

Does the doc encourage you to walk or do some light exercising?
Yea they been pushing me to walk before I even felt like I should get out of bed. They did cancel my theropies until I get this heartbeat thing under control.

Yea just a bit busy. Making an update video right now. Nothing special but it will be out tonight or in the morning
How did things go Tuesday Mark?
Went in and was prepped. Took about an hour and a half. Went in for the shock and they sedated me for 3 minutes, shocked me once and it was over. Heart beating normal now. Had to wait another hour while they made sure I was ok and then went home. Pretty easy!
