  • @alvaroalfaro9478

    Using Bup or Rop 0.25%, 20 to 25ml, do you see significant motor block in legs if this is done in the lower thoracic or upper lumbar region? If so, would this make this more problematic in doing this for a spine surgery for instance? Thanks

    • @ARUNANAESTHESIAACADEMY
      @ARUNANAESTHESIAACADEMY  Před 7 měsíci

      Using 0.25% drug in errector spinae doesn't cause motor weakness. Only if deep spread due to incorrect drug injection site can result in motor weakness.

    Good demo but where are multiifedus muscle located ?

    • @ARUNANAESTHESIAACADEMY
      @ARUNANAESTHESIAACADEMY  Před rokem +1

      Its in the back. Not much of importance in identifying those muscles. We need tonidentify erector spinae and the underlilying transverse process. That will do. In thoracic region - carefully delineate ribs and transverse process.

      You can use. But it will give analgesia rather than anaesthesia. So can be used for postoperative analgesia or along with GA.
