I wanted to tell you, I’ve been on your site today getting things to print off for my kids. I’m so overwhelmed and fearing I’m falling behind for them. First year homeschooling due to Covid. I have 7th, 4th, and 3rd grader. They’re not as good at reading as math but I’m sure my younger 2 can learn off of what you’ve worked so hard to put together. I don’t have much money so I really appreciate the free stuff. My kids shouldn’t suffer or miss out because of my finances but I had to keep them home due to my middle child’s health issues. Were the words "rhino", "fish" and "snake" taught beforehand? I mean because of the silent h in rhino (long i as well), /sh/ in fish and long a in snake. Since is was being introduced I thought it this decodable book would be with no more than cvc words and no digraphs or long vowel sounds. I only want to learn and understand. Thanks in advance for your kind reply! 🙏
No they weren't. I considered them story words. But in my newer version of this book I included more decodable words. It's just too late to make another video because my son is a proficient reader now!
