  • The most anticipated time attack event of the season; Attack Tsukuba! This year marked the 10th Anniversary celebration of the event being held at Tsukuba, and to celebrate, Aoki and his partners went all out! This was by far the largest Attack Tsukuba to date by driver count, and every square meter of the grounds were used to hold cars, teams, vendors, fans and more.
Great weather made for a very nice day to enjoy racing and friends, although the track conditions weren't ideal for breaking records. We take a look at the cars in the hot pit, the paddock, and track side and provide some meaningful data, times and facts about the drivers and cars. Look forward to more information in an article with photos to come soon.
If you have any questions about any of the cars or drivers feel free to drop a comment/question below!

That rear end of the blue and pink RE-Amemiya RX-7 looks great! I still think the M7 Mutiara Motors RE-Amemiya RX-7 had the best looking bodykit of all the RX-7 race cars that I have seen. This blue and pink RE-Amemiya RX-7 rear end with the front of the M7 Mutiara Motors RE-Amemiya RX-7 would have looked even better.

It always surprises me how a lot of these time attack cars from Japan don't run any sort of roll-cage, not even a harness bar, but it will have full aero and even a built engine.

Safety rules are much more relaxed in Japan. As more and more cars travel overseas to events like WTAC you can see the safety and even general build standards increasing year in year

@@NaritaDogfight Do you think in future videos you might be able to place black outline around the white on screen text? When the text is hovering over a white background, it makes it somewhat difficult to see. Outlining the white with a small black outline would improve the clarity of the text quite a bit :D

    • @toddxhiggins
